I do think that illegal immigration is a problem for the US but these kinds of laws are the wrong way to go about solving it.

I agree with one part of the law. We should check if someone is illegal or not and if they are, they should be arrested. Other than that, I don't know much about that law.

The law says if I am a cop and I think you look suspicious, like lets say hanging around outside a Home Depot, I have the power to ask you to provide proof of legal residence. If you can't I can arrest you until it can be proved you aren't an illegal immigrant.

Right i saw that after my outburst. But yeah these people(Governor) are so ignorant and they honestly don't care about Hispanics who are legal, who are busting their asses working hard to bring home the money. All people no matter what race are human. And latinos who are legal shouldn't have to have the worry or be scared that someday if they go outside some cop can stop them and arrest them because they look "suspicious". Believe it or not most mexicans/hispanics who are legal are still poor because they don't get paid like they are suppose to.

I disagree with that part of the law. I think everyone should be asked for proof of legal residency. That way their are no arguments and accusations of racism.

So cops should go around asking everyone for documents?

On other news, Texas and California are considering on applying this law.

Racism still exists in america and anyone who says otherwise is blind. When will america ever learn? This is a shame.

Wow imagine if Texas and California applies this. It's like the south is back with their racism shit again. Flashback to slavery much?

I guess now illegal immigrant have to run to the north now.

Yes, but while they are close to approving people being forced to work for wealthy land owners, they havent yet.

Well yes, if you meant it that way, this is certainly a step towards segregation rather than slavery.

Yes. I think we should all have to send are proof of residency to the authorities and if we can't then the police should get involved. No matter the race, illegal is illegal. No one is above the law (Unless the law is evil).

The US constitution disagrees. Also, almost all human rights organisations.

firstly; there is only one race: the human race.
secondly the use of segregation using ID cards is a way of the government (be it loal or national) making the white, non-indegenous Americans feel more important than the ones who have dark skin.
A divided people is easier to control as they are busy fighting amongst themselves to prove who is more American (in this instance).
Thirdly , things like this are happening all across the world.
We just need to accept that we are all the same and all have the same basic needs and the coulour of your skin or the place of birth don't count for anything: that way wars lie!
We growl, We fight; we're badgers, we bite!
