Biography
Jacob Lewis was born on Febuary 12, 1981 in Belleville, New Jersey to Kayla and Anthony Lewis. His father, was a lawyer and his mother was an english teacher. He has 3 brothers; Michael, Joseph and William, and one sister, Emma. His parents bought him an electric guitar when he was 12 and he started taking lessons. He started singing at school functions when he was 15. He attended Rutgers University on a scholarship but later dropped out to pursue a career in music. In 2007, he was the co-founder of Post-Hardcore band Skylines and Turnstiles. In 2009 he left the band to pursue his career as a solo artist.
