They were once two of the biggest influences in the music world... Rock band Live Youth and Alternative rock superstar Billy Maddison... But then, mysteriously, both acts seemed to disappear... falling out of the spotlight and into... what, exactly?

After months of searching for the lost icons, we finally managed to track them down and discover just what happened to them...

Live Youth, who were thought to have disbanded after all six members disappeared without a trace shortly after the wedding of the iconic band's lead singer, Gemma Ferns, to Billy Maddison. The pair had a turbulent relationship beforehand, and some believed the pair had either eloped to escape public scrutiny, or had broken up and disappeared to avoid the media frenzy.

However, after searching them down, it was found that Gemma and Billy Maddison are indeed still married and have spent the past year holed up creating a family home in Los Angeles, with their young son, Kai (1 year old), as well as Gemma's adoptive son, Caleb, now 4, with guitarist Dean Keller. Gemma is now six months pregnant with Billy's second child, and they plan to live out the rest of the pregnancy at the family home. It's rumoured that the rest of Live Youth are still based in London, with the exception of Dean, who is also in LA.
Rumours are flying that, once a secure family base is set down in their new home, Gemma, Billy and Dean will return to London to kickstart their careers once again.
Whether this happens, who knows? But we'll be sure to keep our eyes peeled...

It seems that since the whereabouts of Billy and Gemma Maddison was revealed last week, the press have been relentless in following the pair, and the internet has been buzzing with pictures and stories of sightings of the pair. This raises the question of how the pair have managed to shake off the media for the past six months?
The latest sighting of the pair was late last night, when a heavily pregnant Gemma, 20, was seen grocery shopping with her two young sons Caleb, 3, and Kai, 1. Gemma was reportedly seen struggling to keep a curious Caleb in check as he ran about the shop, picking up everything in sight.

"I don't know what her and her husband are thinking, having a third child already," one unimpressed shopper stated. "I don't know much about her, but she's obviously a young girl and she can't control the two kids she already has, and she's about to have a third?! And where is the father? This is exactly what's wrong with today's youth. They want to grow up before they're ready to handle it, having children left, right and centre... That kid of hers ran right across the aisle as I was pushing the cart... I bet if I ran him over, she'd be the first to complain".

After finishing her shopping, Gemma took the children to the car, looking very uncomfortable carrying the groceries around her bulging bump, before driving to pick up husband Billy Maddison, 31, from the gym. While Gemma was happy to smile for the cameras, Billy seemed somewhat more disgruntled by the sudden media attention. He covered his face from the snappers and walked straight to the car and drove off, scowling all the way.

"Billy's very upset at the media coverage," a friend of his told us. "He and Gemma were happy, as they finally believed that they had shook off the media. They are not being disrespectful to fans by avoiding being photographed everywhere. They are just a young couple, in love, who want to raise their children the best way they can. They want their boys to grow up grounded. Billy's always told me that he wants his children to just see him as daddy, rather than a rock star. He wants his children to have as normal a childhood as possible, and he wants Gemma's pregnancy to go as smoothly as possible, without any stressors - especially considering her miscarriage last year - he just wants her to have a calm, relaxed and happy pregnancy. What is wrong with that? Why can't you all just leave him alone?!"
