(Taken from a USA Today report) Anchor: Just today, the guitarist from the up-and-coming alt.rock band Long Nights was served with court summons for assaulting a man in The Dirty Bastard Hotel and Casino, a place known for the many musicians who go there to drink and gamble. The man was a Mr. Gregory Jett, who claims that the vocalist for Long Nights, Ryan Page, was flirting with his girlfriend. He says that when he went over to ask him to stop, Warren began to beat him without warning. Warren tells a different story. He says that Gergory Jett picked up a stool and was going to hit Ryan, and that his actions were in self defense. We have some footage from the security cameras of the incident. (boyfriend gets up from table and grabs a bar stool. Begins to swing it at Ryan when Warren punches him in the gut)

Warren Mcgriff walked out of the courthouse to the flashbulbs of hundreds of cameras, both from fans and reporters alike. Ryan follows him, then Blake and Chris. Warren is wearing dark sunglasses and a black three piece suit. Reporters with television cameras point their microphones at him. Instead of answering any of their questions, he simply knocks a camera out of one cameraman's hand and shouts to the reports "Fuck off! I was acquitted!" He then gets into the van that the band had pulled around to the front beforehand, got behind the wheel and drove off. |
