Musically Snobby CUNTS like you really piss me the fuck off!

Nickelback may not be grounbreaking music wise, they may not have cracking songs, they may not be the best musicians and they may be a bit too mainstream for you...but grow the fuck up!

I am not a huge Nickelback fan...but I went to see them in Manchester a couple of years ago with my then girlfriend who loved them...I didnt expect much, but you know what, they were outstanding live. They are very tight at what they do, immense at reproducing what they have done on CD, and most importantly, really really good at being on stage. They have presence, they have personality, and they have charisma. They are also a fun band to watch, and they have some cracking interaction with the crowd which makes for a really good night.

As I said above, their music may be too mainstream, but they themselves are very good musicians. When I saw them, the drummer played a really long ass drum solo, which was absolutely fucking incredible, shook the whole MEN arena to the core, and sadly, a lot of the people their couldn't appreciate how good it was. Also, Chad Kroeger, whilst some guys were throwing shirts into the crowd, stood and played alone with his guitar Seek and Destroy and Cowboys From Hell, start to finish including solos, not hugely difficult stuff, but still impressive to a lot of people.

They write their own songs, they play their own songs, their fans love them, and they have made a hell of a lot of money, got to travel the world, and live out the fucking dream that all of us on here have had at some point or another. So whats your fucking problem?

At the end of the day, your hatred towards a band is sad as fuck...out of interest, what bands do you like? I bet your one of these..."oh I love metal, everything else sucks" PS. for using the word "sucks" in your pathetic Facebook intro, you lose, cos that is uber fucking homo (I am allowed to use it as I was impersonating you)

Music is music, and it's all based on taste. Personally, I like everything from death and black metal, right down to electronica, straight up pop and a little bit of dance, because unlike you, I have the ability to open my mind.

I actually don't like metal. I listen to all sorts of dedicated artists to music. Nickelback is dedicated artists to money.

Anybody can write a song that attracts the attention of teeny boys and girls, you know, the ones that claim they can play guitar when they don't even know how to play the scales just on piano. I can't really see much genius in their work. It's all an obvious scheme to make money. I mean, what genius does it really take to write a song about how someone you love reminds you of you? Like I haven't heard a million of songs like those before.

They are geniuses alright. Not musical geniuses, but moneymaking geniuses. I don't hate Nickelback lovers because after all, it might be deeper to them then others. I'm not necessarily saying their music is stupid and unemotional. It's just, why do people get so caught up in the same shit over and over and over again? They don't reinvent themselves, yet people don't get annoyed or bored. The reason I believe is because pop music is easy and simple to follow and listen to with your ears, but seriously, jesus christ, at least Britney changed her attitude. Nickelback should constantly reinvent themselves at least a little bit. That's why bands like The Killers and Muse get success and more die hard fans than Nickelback. None of their albums are too similar. Nickelback, I can't tell albums apart. All their songs are just another post grunge power rock song nearing the border of ballad. It's ridiculous.

If you cant tell the difference between Curb and the new album, then you obviously have no ears of which to speak.

All of what you just said were almost legit reasons to dislike Nickelback....but why do you have to be such a little bitch and make a gay Facebook group to flex your muscles?

You got a point on Curb, but difference does it make? They were good in the early 2000s. They were still original back then, but "Someday" sounds like a reinvention of "How you Remind Me", still I guess not too bad. Then came out All For The Right Reasons, and that's what killed it for me. Nothing on that record was original. Sounds like they took all the other post grunge bands out there and crapped on them. Honestly, how does that album reach so many hits? None of it is special. It's all over rated pop rock.

I don't hate Nickelback because of their success or because I don't like their style or anything. Really, it's the people who listen to them, because how can people stand listening to the same type of formatted song over and over again? Obviously, they keep writting those types of songs because they can earn money from it. They can be as musically gifted as they want, if that's what you believe, but if they remain so unoriginal all the time because it just so happens to be that they earn good cash from that, then they are truly in it for the money, which is my entire point. They write this crap for money.
