 Reinventing Pop Without Changing A ThingDoll (Born Anakin Smith) was born on June 17, 1988. From an early age, he took an interest in music, especially pop from the '80s. In his teens, he went to high school with Ryan Page and Warren McGriff og Long Nights, forming a band called Redemption with them. When that band broke up, he began to work on his own songs. After Page and McGriff returned home for a party with their old classmates, they met up with Doll again. He sent them some demo tapes and they loved them. Now, funded by Long Nights and armed with guitar and synth driven melodies, he is working on producing his first album, the self titled Doll. Updates:6-3-10: The first single from Doll hass been announced as well as the artwork leaked. The single is called Dance, Dance, Dance.  , Sorry about the sideways art! |
