Anyone getting? Looks tremendous.
O2 offering a deal to current customers to buy out the remainder of their contract to upgrade early...think I might have to. £120 to cancel contract + approx £200 for the new phone +£45 per month...hefty, but has to be done. |

Though they look interesting, not me...I'll stick with my current phone (plain boring one), that way when I inevitably destroy it, it's not so expensive to replace |

Looks, OK, I've got a mobile phone. It allows me to send and recieve phone calls, and send and recieve SMS. It also acts as phone book.
This cost me about £25. I don't need anything else from my phone. |

Fair enough. That is each of your own prerogative of course...I just happen to be a bit of a phone buff and love my technology. Smartphones aren't for everyone obviously though |

So I queued up at 5AM today, launch day, and was 3rd in the queue....picked up my iPhone 4.0 32GB and swiftly returned home. There was a queue of around at least 200 waiting when I left, and only another 27 handsets to go around...oh dear.
Still, it is exceptional, beautifully amazing screen, so fast and powerful and a quality camera with HD video, well worth haemorraging 300 quid out of my bank this morning for :D |
