Reported Failure - Testimony (Official Music Video)You close in on a barren desert. You begin to hear a faint bass sound that slowly builds up. The drums and guitars join in as you close in on the band, of which the members are dressed in white and grey T-shirts and jeans, all of varying shades. As the vocals begin, you close in on one of the bass strings, which becomes a city street. The street is completely deserted. There is not a living creature in sight. You find yourself moving faster over the streets. Through the suburbs and when you reach the chorus you are flying over gently rolling hills.
The camera cuts back to the band, who are rocking out with intensity. the chorus comes to a close and the camera fades back to the hills. You come to a smaller town. You slow down on one of the streets. Suddenly you are thrown sideways. You are plunging downward through a drainage tunnel. As you reach the prechorus you are charging through the tunnel until you are in the ocean. You charge straight at a fish. As the chorus begins you find yourself inside the fish. Suddenly you see fire surrounding you. The fire is put out,but around you you see that fish of all sorts are in flames. As you travel even faster you find yourself passing underneath boat after boat. You dive to the sea floor and make a dust cloud.
Dust, and sand fly in the barren desert, as the guitar riffs ring in your ears. The guitar solo begins. Slowly the edge of the desert begins rising. The band is raised up onto a plateau above a grassy valley. As the instrumental sections of the song rage on you find yourself in the foothills of the valley. Animals of all kinds are gathered. Suddenly there is a shatter of glass from the sky. The glass rains down on the forest. The sky begins burning. The flames are far from earth, though. High above the atmosphere. The animals slowly fade away into a fog. as the song climaxes just before the final chorus you fly through the fog to the ocean. The ships are full of people. All sailing, all answering some sort of call. All around there is the reflection of the flames off the water. The flamey water is forced upward into massive waves.
The camera fades back to the band as the final chorus begins. You zoom forward. The fog has cleared and in the valley there are people. Hundreds of thousands of them, all with fists raised in rebellious fashion. Back in the ocean many of the ships have been taken down. But the remaining are washing ashore. Sliding down the slopes of the great valley. As the song reaches it's loud ending you shoot up into the flames and then darkness. Edited by user 15 June 2010 14:48:07(UTC)
