He was still...sitting there, as if the whole tour, the whole goddamn month had just washed away, Holding his beer he took another swig
Somehow depressed, Jerry hated the studio, drinking was the only thing that kept him from losing it completely. What was worse was
every day he would need to drink more and more and more just to get the same affect, Jerry knew Guiness and Cigarettes were not enough
to calm him. He needed something new, something that worked no matter what he felt, or how little he took.
That was it, that was what he needed, at about 2 AM he snuck out the flat
Got into his car, and drove, drove and drove until he was there.

He pulled up next to a man standing on the sidewalk, pulled out about 150 pounds and did what he thought he would never have to do
He bought drugs, Jerry drove up behind a gas station and smoked all of the weed, after 5 minutes he felt extremely light headed everything slowed down
his senses calmed down...."Wonderful" he thought, all the stress left his body
he felt nothing but
Free
Clean
Placid

Beautiful
This was a new feeling, something he could not explain, as he sat there basking in his new found glory
Something That he would never forget, yet it was something that he needed to keep feeling, no matter what would happen...

Jerry sat there in the recording studio the night after his ordeal, smiling he calmly played his parts
It was the first time in years he had ever been so free and happy, yet he also felt dirty
The whole band agreed before anything were to happen, none of them were to ever do anything like he
did, the guilt set in and just as the bliss and happiness came it left, as if it was never there, Jerry knew
he wanted, no... needed more.

By the end of the recording everybody had gone back to the flat, except for Jerry, he got into his car and
drove to the same spot he was at the night before, paid for the drugs and left...
Jerry pulled up behind the gas station and lit his match, as soon as he took in the wonderful aroma his body begin to
calm, and he felt good, ever so good...It was as if the world slowed down everything was calm
Just walking into the gas station to buy gum to get the scent off of his breath took hours...

When Jerry returned to the flat he was still working off the affects of the weed, he looked over to Chopper and Alex
Working on the next song they were going to record, and to Jason and Geo playing a drinking game, Jerry sat down next
to them.
"Hey man where were you?" Jason Asked, "A place, man, so much better than all of this bullshit I have to go through day in and day out"
Jerry said back, Geo and Jason looked at each other obviously confused at his response to them
Jerry had changed...

3 Days under the influence, that feeling was starting to wear off, Jerry remembered kids in school
doing drugs and smoked etc. He knew how it would affect his and his band mates life
"FUCK!" He screamed in his room, smoking was starting to not have its usual effects as it
always did, Angered Jerry took a stress relief pill, than another, and another, He started to feel
numb, once more his pain was leaving.

3 hours later it wore off, he loved that feeling as he lay in bed listening to long Nights and The Bards
He wanted something stronger than what he had before, he turned on the T.V to VH-74 And watched
part one to the Opera Princess documentary, as soon as it was over Jerry stood and jumped in his car
"Hey mate!, where you headed?" Chopper asked as he jumped in the car, "Nowhere, just a drive" Jerry
said back not making eye contact. "Mind If I tag along?" Chopper asked "Yes I would" Jerry responded in
a rasping voice, "Why not? we are friends right?" "Yeah, but I just-I just need to think" Chopper jumped outta
the car, "Alright man, uh-have fun?" Jerry drove off not saying anything.

Jerry pulled up to his usual dealer at around the same time, only this time he did not
but pot, he bought something stronger, something worse, he bought Cocaine and More
Pain Killers, He crushed the pills and snorted them along with the Cocaine, His head Spun
He felt amazingly free, but then violently ill, he threw up for half and hour, his body had a
horrible reaction To this mixture, yet still it was the best he had ever felt...

He had a routine now, it had been a month, and it had turned full on,
Jerry would take out 2 pain killer pills and smash them to a fine powder, than make
two lines of cocaine, than put out a tab of red acid (his fav.) he would than
fill up a needle with heroin and light up a joint. He would take it all at once
the sensation was so intense and unbearable he would pass out sometimes, the
effects took days sometimes to fully wear away, he would do this every three days.

Jerry had become a full on addict, gone crazy, his drum skills began to suck to,
Under the influence 24/7 was amazing for him, every day he woke up in a new
girls bed, and everyday, he knew in his head how bad what he was doing was
he would sometimes need to record something 7 times over just to get it half right
Everybody knew something was up, it would only be a matter of time, he thought...
