Jakey Comatose Plays Secret Warm Up Gig

Jakey Comatose played a secret show to specifically selected fans, chosen from his mailing lists and fan pages as well as those who have helped him out along the way, at London's Heaven Club tonight.

Details of the show were sent via email message at roughly 11am yesterday morning, and the singer asked these people to keep the show's announcement 'on the downlow'. None the less, by the evening details of the show had leaked onto the internet, and many queued outside the club through the night with hope of catching Jakey at his first official gig since he was diagnosed with cancer. Once all VIP guests were in the venue, members of the queue were allowed in until the venue was at maximum capacity.

He played a show, a mixture of crowd pleasers and new material, to an enthusiastic audience. His self indulgent set lasted slightly under three hours, and he was the only act playing that night.

OOC: It definitely looks that way. I'm not in it as deeply as some people, some of the stuff that gets written is truly brilliant, but it's all good fun! Hopefully it keeps on the rise!
