After two years away from our T.V screens, Aftershock returned to them today with not one but three appearances.

They started the day by appearing on Lorraine Kelly's sofa. Band memebers Naomi and Curtis chatted about what the band have been up to in the wilderness years and the new album.

Naomi:

We spent roughly eight months doing pretty much naff alll really. Just deciding if we actually wanted to return to the whole business.

Curtis:

Then roughly a year ago we started to collate ideas for a new album. Most of them were terrible. There were a few decent tracks. We may even put out a demo's album at some point with some of the best demos. It wasn't until November 2009 that the album started to take shape. We recorded 50 tracks and selected the best 10 for the album.

They then performed Stockholm Syndrome

The second appearance of the day was on Channel 4's Denise & Mel's Five O'Clock show. The band opened the show performing Stockholm Syndrome and closed the show with a hits medley of old material. The medley consisted of Crime Of Passion [#10] Just You & Me Dancing [#2] How Do You Describe A Feeling? [#10] Mouth To Mouth [#9] & Paris By Night [#3]

An interview was pre-recorded for Thursday show.

The third and final performance was on Channel 5's Live from studio 5 where Darren revealed future plans for the band.

We are actually due to film a video for the next single tomorrow which I can exclusively reveal will be Call The Doctor//Son Of God. It's a double A-Side. Call The Doctor is off of Weather Underground whilst Son Of God is a new track from the same sessions. Both songs are totally different to the etheral MEDEVAC sound of Stockholm Syndrome. Stockholm Syndrome will stay an underground buzz single at this stage. We only pressed 5,000 CD's the rest is just downloads.

Cristina: Don't know if we get those channels in the US, I'll have to watch them on Youtube, I'm a big fan.
