Discovered after a chance meeting with Ryan Page of Long Nights in the same club where they both started out, The World According to St. Jimmy was catapulted into the world of the music industry. Dog, Shady, Jeff, and Karl make up the group, with Dog on vocals, Jeff on guitar, Jeff on bass, and Karl on drums. They formed in 2006 in Seattle, Washington and after a few lineup changes, came to their current one.

Their name is inspired by the Green Day song St. Jimmy, and Green Day is one of their biggest influences. Their sound is akin to that of Green day combined with Social Distortion (With just a pinch of the sex pistols thrown in for good measure). They are currently working on a debut EP, and they have released the artwork for it. The title is The Gospel of St. Jimmy, and the band has promised that it will fucking RAWK!

NEWS:
The World According To St. Jimmy has released some info about their first full length album. It is going to be called Northsouthwesteasterly. They will not be doing any covers on the album and are thinking about a tour afterward. The band has also hinted at a live bonus disc, but nothing has been confirmed yet. The World According To St. Jimmy has official released their debut EP, The Gospel Of St. Jimmy. It is five songs that display what they can do. Despite having only one guitar and a bass musically in the band, they know how to make it sound like a giant band, filling every hole in their sound.
