OOC: Youd've had to have been around here consistently for the past 9 months or so, plus have an insane memory to understand this as of now, but it will make sense shortly, I'm building up to something, the pictures are clues.

Earlier this year, upcoming death metal legends Black Gold Reign announced a temporary hiatus, less than a month prior to the would be follow up to the smash debut 'Archetype', 'Rotting Salvation'. Returning from their various corners of the Los Angeles hills, Black Gold Reign is officially back on their feet, kicking things off with a triumphant US tour alongside co-headliner's Mind, Junkhead and Dormant Fusion. This is sure to be a tour to remember, and there is limited seating, so be sure to get your tickets fast. The final show at The Fillmore in San Francisco will be broadcast live across the internet for you poor bastards who couldn't scrape up the moolah for a ticket.

Black Gold Reign will be making their return to the music industry on this tour, making a run through the
States before hitting the studio. Although they've scrapped the album in works 'Rotting Salvation', you can
expect new work from these death metal icons soon.

Mind are one of the definitive metal bands of this generation, blending the perfect balance of experimental and heavy,
captivating a massive audience spread far and wide throughout the world. They are preparing to release their newest
onslaught in the coming weeks, titled simply 'A Shattered Fairytale'.

Junkead are an up and coming band from the Seattle area. Having broken through on tours with bands such as Quarantine among others, they are preparing for their first full length, which is sure to boast their signature fluent blend of metal styles.

Dormant Fusion are the upcoming brain child of Damien Smith, younger brother of Mind's Jason Smith. They're currently involved with their debut album, 'Dormant Fusion, and you can expect many good things to come from these Cambridgeshire natives.

OOC: I really like this, I was wondering for a while what all the pictures were leading to. Sorry for not many people paying attention to it, I just guess the forum isn't what it used to be.
Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis

(Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk)

Kurt Ulysses - Songwriter, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist
Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo

Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles

(Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Infinite released four albums over the course of their career; Blue Nebula, Midnight Skies, Insomnia, and Dancing about Architecture.)

Eric Quillington (Deceased) - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Piano, Primary Lyricist
Matt Roberts - Bass
Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist
Amelia Florentine - Keyboards, Piano, Lyricist, Backup Vocals

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."

OOC: Glad to hear you like it. I don't know what it is, but people have an affinity for not commenting on most of my work. Not trying to sound like a whiny bitch, but the majority of my rp projects get disproportionately low amounts of attention, but hey, people read it, and if they enjoy it, that's all I really care about, so it doesn't really bother me. I'm not gonna jump off a bridge because people don't comment on my roleplays.

All of us back here at the Black Gold Reign camp would like to take this chance to thank you all for the undying support even through these dark past couple months. At the moment my hands are ties as to what can be said, there's a bit more consulting and such that needs to be done between the 5 of us before I think anything can really be clarified. Back to business as usual you brutal dudes, we're siked to hit the road and tear up a few low key dates with our longtime friends in Mind, as well as making some new acquaintances in Junkhead and Dormant Fusion. And then fuck man, back to the studio as always. Damn man, party's over, this isn't a beer, it's a water, and I'm next to a fucking man, in a room full of men. That's what it's gonna sound like soon enough. Prepare for a tight new era of BGR, comin' out stronger than ever man, you know? Before I tune out, I gotta give my condolences to Scott H, his family, friends, and all my brothers in Blood of Wecz. As deep and dark a place as we were in, I can't begin to imagine what those dudes went through, must've been seriously tough man, right? We miss you man, this return of ours is dedicated 100% fucking percent to you, all the victim's of the DBM massacre, and Failed Youth, if these vicious rumors that are circulating happen to be true. I wanna thank all of you for being so supportive in such tough times, let's do some positive shit for all of them, alright?

OOC: Nahh, you don't sound like a whiney bitch, I completely understand where you're coming from by saying that. I've noticed that the only things that get major amounts comments are the introduction/return of the artist, or whenever an artist releases an album. My stuff doesn't get all that much attention either, but as long as one person likes it, I'm fine. You have done a great job with this, though; it's everyone else's loss for not paying attention to this, not yours.

I actually wanna take a moment right now to say you're pretty hella good at rp, and it's really a bummer to see good threads go without comments. You've actually kinda inspired me to comment more often, put myself in other people's position.
