Eight years ago, death metal legends Imperial Ruin released their 5th and final album Imperialism. Unreleased material was never made public although rumors swirled for years that a rarities album would be released. The time has come for that album to be released. Although negotiations are still underway to find labels to release the album in different parts of the world, the album cover and track listing has been finalized and will now be unveiled. I give to you the last of unreleased material from the current line up of Imperial Ruin.

Vocals: Josh Lawson
Guitar: "Chainsaw" Jack Morrison
Bass: Joe Vang
Drums: Carter Michaels / Galakse

(some of the drums were recorded by Carter Michaels, the original drummer, while other drums were recorded with Galakse who took over for Carter when he left to join a different band. Carter has returned to the band as Galakse is currently serving a life sentence in Norway for murder.)

To be fair, death metal legends generally aren't quite so marketable or trendy. I mean really, could you name 5 legendary death metal bands off the top of your head? I could, but then again, I have almost no care for music outside of metal, so there you go....

OOC: I was shortly on the old forum, though I was one of those 'doesn't know what he's doing, no one cares, posts every week or so noobs'. My band was called Carbon Wire if it rings any bells.

OOC: Hmm...don't quite remember you. The only bands I really remember were Magaliel, Stigmata, Castle, Broken Streetlight Epidemic (I think this was their name.)

OOC: It kills me that all the band names back then sound so ancient or medieval as well.

OOC: I only remember those because they were sort of in the same genre. There were other bands from other genres however....I just can't really remember them. Except maybe Matthew Cronix and The Bobs (I think).
