After five year signed with “Brazil Records”, Electrodeath end their contract with the Record label releasing their recently work entitled “Do Not Regret – Reloaded”, the label still have the rights above Electrodeath songs, for one year more, probably one more single will be released soon, but the contract is ended.
With the recently success the band is doing, the record label tried to sign another contract but something on this label doesn’t feel right for the girls, recently a closer friend of Maggie (the main vocalist) said the band was sad with the things imposed by the label, this person said that the label wanted the girls to sing songs for certain subjects they didn’t want to, and a lot of the melodies for the songs are cut for the label itself, to make the music short and dynamic for a mainstream release.
The Future of the band is uncertain right now, they still have a tour to finish, but the band seems to be strong as they sold more than 3 million copies with their first record and their second record sold more than 600.000 of copies with three weeks of release, the band said in a recent interviewed before the cure for cancer festival performance that they already have a concept and some lyrics for songs for a brand new album, but they would need a Record Label to support them.
For now we just can hope that the girls would be able to find someone to support them, so they could still be very creative with their sound.
