I thought it would be relatively cool to start a show that was like an American idol/X factor type of show called All Around The World where our board members could create up and coming stars who could compete at each show (doesn't matter what genre) and we could also vote on what up and comers we want to stay all the way to we get to the end and a winner will be announced and they will receive a recording contract. It kind of gives the star a backstory and some exposure so chances of charting higher are easily seen. Before I get into more details - do you guys think this is a good idea, or no? And any questions I'll take now. After that's done hopefully I could give out the sign up form and some could help me with the process of this whole thing and we could make it fun. So....what do you people think? Hopefully we can get up to or more then 10 signees and us people on the board can sign up with up to 2 superstars on the show.

OOC: If this gets off the ground, I'll for sure support it, but, as is being made clear from some of the more senior members, these kind of things rarely work, usually because people (not only the creator, but the contestants too) fail to really commit to the show/event/etc. As I said, if this seems to shape up into something strong, I'll be behind supporting it 100%.

OOC: I agree. It's kind of like Animal Fest in my opinion; it had some great ideas behind it, and alot of terrific people were involved with it. But, when it came to the actual day, only a couple of people posted. (I'm guilty for it, too, I'm not trying to sound all high and mighty.) I really hope people actually get involved with it, because I kind of have rough ideas for the person I'd use for it.

I and whoever is up to help will try our best to make this work out. If not, its a failed attempt but it'll still be good to try it out! I'll be doing the rules and the apps right now and anything else.
