Daniel: Pretty darn amazing production you have going on here. The song builds up so amazing, but I'm going to be honest the end is a bit of a disappointment. I think the electronic and synthesized instruments weren't necessary, it was a bit messy. But overall the song is fantastic. Reckoner is definitely here to stay.

Glad you noticed! That part was intentionally supposed to sound like that, the noisy, messy, sort of dirty feeling it gives. We love to hear really messy things in beautiful pieces because we think things that sound too good are safe and uninteresting, the noise makes it more alive and more "human"..

Well, that kicks the living shit out of everything I've been working on recently. This reminds me a bit of Paranoid Andriod, which is always a good thing. If this is just one song on the new album, I can't wait to hear the entire day. Everything X can't be released soon enough...
-Eric Quillington

Well we imagined it more of our own "Bohemian Rhapsody". but Paranoid Android is a great song too!

OOC: I am so overwhelmed with the comments I'm receiving, this must have been the single that I have worked hard for the most and I'm glad the hardowork paid off, thanks guys!

Well this might be a great single, but Everything X would be hard up if it would be compared to Shattered Fairytale, currently listening to it and the album has always been great!

OOC: Noobs my ass, that was incredible. If I could even come close to that when I finally sit down and work on some new Black Gold Reign or Junkhead material, I will feel more acomplished than words can describe. Cheers!

Everything X is the third studio album by british alternative rock band Reckoner. The album was recorded in the band's newly built studio in Glasgow. It was produced by Quarantine frontman Regan Futrell and engineered by Danny Allen. It is the first album released on the joint signing of the band to V-Records and Comatose Records. The album drifts away from the traditional alternative rock sound of Backstabber and enters a darker and deeper dimension of music. The album experiments with genres like jazz, electronica, avant garde and tribal music; the album also marks the first time the band use sampling of music, more specifically on the final track. The album's lyrics were written primarily by Troy Mascenon, but the compositions are all band-made, as a result all songs are credited to Reckoner.
