Eric Quillington+MattY= something mysteriously intriguing yet exciting. Don't really know how Eric would pull this off, but he is talented so I just hope he raps in this song!

Haha, me rapping would be a very bad thing, trust me. I just stick to what I do best on this song; singing, guitar, and piano. I think my alternative and indie style of playing bounces off of MattY's rapping perfectly, so I have really high hopes for this song! Thanks for the compliment, though, mate!

Shoot to Kill (ft Eric Quilington)

Out Now To Buy and Download!

Track Listing:

Shoot to Kill
This song is an incredibly collab with one of the biggest names in the industry right now - Eric Quillington!
Eric does the vocals in the chorus and lifts the song to a whole new level. One of the best tracks on the forthcoming album!

Fresh Face
This song is really a bit of an introduction to who MattY really is. Still relatively new on the block MattY still has to get his name around a bit, and this track gives an insight into what it really is being a new face on the block

Saved By My Beats
This track is about how MattY got into the business, and it talks about how music is the one thing that stopped him from being just like his parents: street dwelling failures

MattY debut album release date put back to the 4th
The Album is called Fresh Face:

Here is the Tracklisting:

1. Fresh Face
2. Shock Wave
3. Stand Your Ground (ft. Brittany Knox)
4. Shoot to Kill (ft. Eric Quillington)
5. Shooting Star (ft Michelle Green)
6. Lost Inside (ft. Glamazon)
7. Inspired
8. Saved by My Beats
9. When I Was Younger
10. Let Me Go

MattY had to put the date back to the 4th due to a last minute change in one of the tracks that were to be put onto the album.

MattY wrote:
It feels great to have finally finished the album, i am so thankfull to everyone who has helped me make it. With special thanks to Michelle Green, Eric Quillington, Brittany Knox and Glamazon - without all of you this album would be nothing like what it is. I have really enjoyed making this album with another special thanks to the label - Hot Eye Records and the owner Stephanie Fierce. Thank you very much!

She is fantastic and I honestly feel privelidged that she decided to work on my album with me. I'm sorry that you werent on it, i had already got the features sorted long before the album came out. Anyway, ive been writing for the new album already - and i think i may have found a song that could do with a bit of the good old Ang3licD3vil. I will talk to you about it at a later point. Blog Time!

Well hello everybody - i have to say i am really happy with the way things are going at the moment, my latest single Shoot to Kill (ft Eric Quillington) is honestly great - i love it, and it was an honour to work with Eric (just thought i would say good luck to the Infinite boys and i hope that Greg's condition improves), he is such a talented artist and is a really nice guy. I am also very happy with the turn out for the album so far. It is going great! I honestly think that i've done a good job there haha. I would also like to take this moment to again thank all of the people who worked on the album as well - with several big name stars featuring on the album i feel quite honoured to have been able to work with you: So thank you Eric Quillington, Glamazon, Michelle Green and last but certainly not least a big thank you to Brit Knox.

I know there may have been a few rumours as to why i was away for a couple of weeks recently - well the truth is my great-grandfather passed away and he is the guy that brought me up. Gramps inspired me to do something more with my life so i have a lot of respect for that man, since his passing i have written a new song, and i think it will be th first single off of the new album - but before that i have still got one more single to release from Fresh face. This third single is going to be one of the two songs that has a feature that has not yet been released as a single (so the Brit Knox feature of the Glamazon feature).

For all of those who didnt know, i have been doing many gigs recently, i have just finished the UK and Ireland leg of Wilson's Painful Logic Tour. Here is how my last show went for them:

"*MattY walks onto the stage and a huge roar comes from the Belfast crowd at The Waterfront*
MattY: Hey Everybody!
*The Crowd roars again*
MattY: I am sooooo happy to be here, but this is - unfortunately - the last show that im doing for these guys. So i think we shall be getting started in a couple of minutes. First of all i just wanna say a big thanks to Wilson for having me here, its been a great experience touring with them, they are really nice guys.
Anyway i suppose i had better get on with it otherwise i wont get the set finished on time, haha. First up is the track that gave my debut album - came out today - Fresh Face, it's name. So here is Fresh Face!
*Crowd roars as the slow drum beat kicks in and then POW goes almost drum and base style*
MattY: Oh i love that one, haha. Next up is my first single from the album - unfortunately Michelle could not be here, she was very busy, so we dont have her performing live for you today. Sorry, but here is Shooting Star!
*Crowd screams again! Many of the crowd are singing along to the chorus even without Michelle being there*
MattY: Wow, that is easily one of my favourite tracks from the album, its great. Its great to hear you guys singing my songs like that, anyway three more songs to go. Next up - Inspired, this one is a freestyle. It is a b-side on the single Shooting Star, it is also on the album. Here goes!
*Song goes great, crowd maintaining a good noise level*
MattY: Well, im sure this is what all of you have been waiting for - this is my latest single - Shoot to Kill! Again, Eric couldn't be here, as he is very busy with many things in his life at the moment. So here we go!
*Crowd gives an even bigger roar thann for any other song as Eric Quillingtons Vocals come streaming from the speakers - even if they are not live, his voice still makes the crowd scream!*
MattY: And last but not least my track Shock Wave now, Unless you've already got the album you will not have heard this one anywhere. So here goes!
*Crowd again keeps up a great noise level*
MattY: Thank you all soooo much for this, this has been a great show, you're a great audience - here is Wilson!!!!!
*Crowd screams even louder than any other time! MattY walks off of the stage*"

It was great opening for Wilson, i had such a great time. I am also opening for Greenleaf, doing 12 dates in november. So come and see me then.

I think i will try and get a few gigs in for myself in between these two tours.

Again, cheers for buying he album and the singles- and if you havent, do it!! haha,
- MattY

Good luck at the O2 Arena, mate! It's incredible that someone so young has already become so successful; I'd be scared shitless to be headlining at a place like that at the age of 15.
