O2 Arena Performance - Ang3licD3vil openning for MattY
Inside the O2 Arena the crowd bustling and all you can hear is thousands of people talking unable to make out a single word all the voices just roll into one.
The lights go down and the crowd screams as a red light flashes out across the arena followed by a white light then red and white together flash on and off then in quick succession as the music starts up the drum beat booming around the arena then one big flash of light as Ang3licD3vil rise up through the floor.
Cherise: London let me hear you screammmmmmmmmmmm
Celeste: Come on Londonnnn are you readyyyyy!?!?!?!
Cherise: Let's do thisss wooooooooooooo
The drum beat quickly turns into the intro to Déjà-Vu as Cherise and Celeste dressed both in shiny all in one dresses, Cherise in red with an angel on the back and Celeste in white with a devil on the front start bouncing around the stage entertaining either side of the crowd and alternating between them with each other as they belt out Déjà-Vu. the crowd all cheering and screaming as there's a loud drum beat and darkness falls at the end of the opening song.
Cherise: wow Celeste this crowd is amazeee London you’rre hott tonight
(the crowd scream)
Celeste: wow I’m feelin it - are you feelin it Londonnn?
(The crowd screams)
Cherise: so hello London wow we cant believe we're here at the 02 are you all ready to see MattYYYYY?
(Crowd scream, whistles can be heard)
Celeste: I think that’s a yes then (Both laugh) well we're called Ang3licD3vil and we're here to give you guys a warm up
Cherise: are you ready this is our new single called 'Get on the Floor' out on September 20th we hope you like it
Celeste: hit itttt
Cherise and Celeste are joined on stage by 4 male dancers, 2 in white and 2 in red as 'Get on the Floor' starts up an energetic dance routine occurs all through-out the track as Cherise and Celeste play with the dancers. Cherise (in red with angel logo) teasing and dancing with the 2 male dancers in white and Celeste (in white with devil) dancing and tempting the 2 male dancers in red. As the song nears the end the male dancers carry on 2 stools and place them in the middle of the stage as Cherise and Celeste take their place on them.
Cherise: wow I’m tired (laughs)
Celeste: lets slow it down this is an exclusive off our forthcoming album. This is Amnesia
The girls sit centre stage a guitar can be heard quietly in the background as a red and white spotlight light up Cherise and Celeste as they start to sing 'Amnesia' with just the guitar accompanying them
Cherise: London you give me Amnesia
Cherise changes part of the lyrics to fit the location throughout-out the song each time the crowd screaming out. As the song plays out to guitar solo the girls run quickly off stage to get changed.
As the band kick in Cherise and Celeste appear back on stage dressed in red sparkly hot pants and a white t-shirt baring the Ang3licD3vil logo.
Cherise: wow well you guys have been great
Celeste: thanks for all the support guys, London you rockkkk!!!
(crowd cheers)
Cherise: MattY (crowd screams) will be here shortly but before he is we got a couple more tracks for you
Celeste: this is a little special its a megamix of a few of our songs old and new hope you like it
The 4 male dancers return and take place as the band strike up as the music kicks in for the megamix Cherise and Celeste dancing with and without the dancers going to either end of the stage to cheers from the crowd each time as they work through 'La Bouche' , 'Whatchamacallit' , 'Don't forget to Remember, 'Drag it up' and 'In my Head'. the crowd cheer and scream as the megamix closes and Cherise and Celeste rip off the male dancers tops to reveal each with letters written on them spelling out Ang3licD3vil.
Cherise: wooooo that was gooood (laughs)
Celeste: ooo cant beat being paid to do that can you ladiessss?
(crowd screams)
Cherise: well our time has come to an end MattY will be with you shortly have to say you guys been amazinggg
Celeste: thanks for the support guys remember 'Get on the Floor' out on 20th
Cherise: we hope to see you all soon but before we go this is 'Killa'
Lights flash all around as Cherise and Celeste perform 'Killa' a cover of the Cherish hit single as the crowd screams and dances along with the girls and the male dancers as the song comes to an end a few flames flash out the front of the stage as the lights go off
Cherise: thank you London, and now welcome on the stage… MattY!!!!
MattY walks on to the stage and gives each girl a hug.
MattY: Hey everybody! You all enjoying the show, yeah?
Celeste: They sure seem like it!
MattY: Good! These girls have been fucking awesome!! Say it with me all of yous! Fuck-ing-Awe-Some!
(The audience repeats and then cheers)
MattY: Right now we are gonna perform the Ang3licD3vil tracks that I am involved in yeah. Alright alright.
The Audience screams as the tune for ‘Got 2 be Me’ starts blasting away.
MattY: (Chuckles) Ang3licD3vil – M-A-T’s to the Y. Let’s Go!
The audience screams again as the girls start singing. Most of the audience is singing along as each girl performs to her very best; each looking revitalized since MattY’s arrival. The track gets to MattY’s section and the audience goes crazy. You could mistake the half full stadium for being full! The track finishes and the crowd again goes crazy!
MattY: Wow that is an immense track!!
Celeste: Yeah it is!!!
Cherise: And on to our last track of the night now – A new one from the second album: Angels… And… Demons!
(Crowd goes insane! MattY smiles at the fans that the three of them have acquired in such a sort space of time)
The track plays through and an amazing lights show with fireworks and everything happens during the performance. The track finishes and MattY gives both Cherise and Celeste a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
MattY: These girls have been great!!! Let’s give them a huuuuuuge round of applause!!!
(The crowd goes incredibly crazy)
Cherise: Thank you so much London! Goodnight!!!
Celeste: Byeeeee Londonnnnnn!!!
MattY looks out to the crowd and a huge grin comes across his face.
MattY: It is incredible to see so many of you here!
(Screams)
MattY: And to thank you, I am gonna give you the best show you have ever seen! So buckle up, because here we go!!!!
The tune for Fresh Face pounds through the stadium and MattY performs with ease. It is like he has been doing this his whole life
MattY: *laughs* Now wasn’t that AWESOME?! This next track is a b-side to my latest single Stand Your Ground. This track is called Shock Wave!
There is a scream from the audience and the stadium goes crazy! The track goes down fantastically with the fans, with many of them singing along.
MattY: Woo!!! That is great! You guys are awesome!
The crowd screams.
MattY: Now, I would like to welcome out onto the stage a surprise guest – ERIC QUILLINGTON OF INFINITE!!!
The crowd goes intensely crazy with such a huge star on the stage. Eric walks on with his hands in the air.
Eric: Hey Everybody!
The crowd screams, he looks at MattY and nods. The track starts playing. Not long after the beginning of the track Eric starts his vocals. MattY is always stunned by the quality of Eric’s voice, he stands there gawping and almost misses his cue. The crowd loves it and the song finishes to a choir of screams from the audience.
Eric waves goodbye to the audience and walks off stage after saying his goodbyes to MattY.
MattY: Isn’t he awesome?! I love that guy! Wow, the night is shooting bye. Just like that stat up there… Oh yeah we are inside… well that was a pretty crap cue to the next song, *laughs*
The music starts playing for Shooting Star. The audience goes crazy as this was MattY’s first proper single and was the track that introduced most of his fans to his music. The awesome vocals of Michelle Green glide from the speakers as it plays the chorus. Then MattY gets underway with the first verse. After the first verse all of the audience is singing along to the chorus and it makes MattY smile to know that his music is appreciated.
The track finishes and goes straight into the freestyle track Inspired. Nobody was expecting this but it is a good surprise as this seems to be one of the better tracks on the album. MattY finishes the track and picks up his water bottle from the front of the stage. He takes a huge gulp of water then looks back at the audience and grins and nods his head.
MattY: You guys are great! Only three more tracks to go now unfortunately. Next up is the new single Stand Your Ground!
The audience loves the track as it is his latest single. With it being played on the radio a lot and being on the album, many people know the lyrics and join in. MattY lifts the mike for the audience to shout “Stand Your Ground” into at the end of the song.
MattY: Nice one! No joke, I am getting pretty knackered. Only two more tracks to go though. Are you all still enjoying the show? *Audience Screams* Good!
Saved by my beats is the latest track to be played, one of the ones that is better known by the people that bought ‘Shoot to Kill’. It goes down relatively well but not quite as good as most of the others.
MattY: Well, last track now. I have a bit of a treat for you… This is a new song; it will be on the next album. And it is called Raising the Bar!
The audience loves it. The track goes down better than any of the previous ones. MattY finishes the track and looks out to the audience.
MattY: Thank you all for coming! And thank you Cherise and Celeste! And also, thank you very much Eric Quillington! Tonight was great hope to see you all again soon!
