I can't help it that people want to come and see me. I would rather not be compared to those artists as i feel i am very different to them. I can't help my age and that people like my music, thats just who i am and what i do.

Im not comparing you musically to them im just saying that your starting out like them. Its nothing against you although all the poeple that go to your shows look like they are between the ages of 12-16

Since I am 16 now i decided to move full time to London, to be closer to record studios etc.
So I have bought myself a flat in London with the money that i earned from 'Fresh Face' and from the O2 gigs, so thank you to all that have supported me buying tickets and albums.
I will be at Michelle Green's Birthday Bash today - should be a good party

I'm living in Camden Town now, got myself a nice little flat down here. Scenary isn't quite as nice as my old place in Derbyshire, but im really excited.

Close To Tears (ft. Alicia Lena) Out Today!

MattY's first single from his follow-up album has been released today.

Song Background:
MattY wrote the track just after his Great-Grandfather (Gramps, as he is refered to in the song) - the man that brought MattY up - died of a heart attack. It is a very emotional song and is the best song lyrically that MattY has written. The song would't work as a pure rap track so MattY had to find a vocalist. With Alicia Lena stating earlier in MattY's career that she would like to work with him, MattY took the opportunity and Ms Lena graciously agreed. Unfortunately both MattY and Alicia have been very busy and it different times, so they have had to record the track at seperate times and locations.

Track Listing:

Out of Control
Loving the Haters

The other two tracks are more Freestyle orientated, with Freestyle rap being MattY's speciality he seems very keen to flaunt this. 'Out of Control' is a bit of a story about drugs and alcohol and losing control. Whereas 'Loving the Haters' is a track where MattY states his love for all the people that dislike him and his music - quoting some lyrics: "Without you, i wouldn't be nowhere. Saying that you hate me, only shows that you care". 'Loving the Haters' seems to be a very 'tongue in cheek' track

MattY Stops Album Work

Rapper MattY has announced that he will be putting off working on his new album. Instead he has decided that he will look for some work producing and featuring on other peoples songs.

Hey, I met up with Ugenia yesterday to help her with a song. So i have featured on a song which will possibly be on her next album; she did not actually specify. ut anyway, Ugenia is a really nice girl and hope she does well. She has also asked me to come back and help her produce a few more songs for her upcoming album. Den - who has recently split from his group Teen Titans - has also mentioned that he would like to do a bit of work with me, so hopefully I will be busy helping him soon too. It has to be said I am getting a much bigger buzz out of this than I was when I was making my own stuff.
- If anybody else wants a producer don't hesitate to ask

Well todey me and Ugenia have been very busy, and i feel that we got a lot done. It is great being involved in th production of her debut album. I cant wait for the release. Some great stuff on there. I have decided that towards the end of this year i will have a free mixtape for download only of tracks that i am covering and stuff. Just something to tide the fans over while im not working on the album.

Hey everybody, Ugenia and I have been working together a lot recently to get her album done. The first single is out around now - i think - and she has been great to work with. I have also been in touch with Allura Silk recently. We have been placed together to do a track for the Shooting Star Records Album! I have given her a call and tried to arrange a date to do some work with her but she has been increidbly busy. Also, Malory placed Ugenia and I together to do a track for the album. This is fantastic as I have enjoyed working with her very much; i had also been doing a lot of writing and the track that i liked the look of most, was the one that would only work with Ugenia. Cannot wait to get into the studio with both Allura and Ugenia.

If anybody wants me on a track - or to produce one for an Album/EP - do not hesitate to ask

Hey, been in the studio all day with Ugenia, just having a break now so i thought that i would update y'all on whats been happening. So yeah, we did a bit more for her album - which is looking awesome! I am so glad that i have been a part of it. And then we did a bit on our SSRA track, which i personally think is like awesome! Then we did a little bit more on her album and now we are having another break. So yeah, its been a relatively productive day.
