CHERISE BLOG 17/11/10 Wow what a night last night it was amazing such brilliant performances by all and Miss Vanity was superb as always. My first time ever performing in such company and such a good welcoming crowd I still have to watch it back to believe I actually did it seemed to flash before my eyes. Celeste really enjoyed herself as well.. told you she'd still be about.

CHERISE BLOG 20TH NOVEMBER Hi guys hope your all well just a quick blog update to say promotion for 'Pyramid' is coming along nice.. the Chaos Awards was a great platform to be on.. I have a short interview coming up in December's Attitude magazine and I have also got an appearence on Lorraine as well so keep your eyes out for me on the shelves and television.

CHERISE BLOG UPDATE 22ND NOVEMBER 2010 Well guys the countdown has begun in just 2 weeks time 'Pyramid' will be available to buy on CD (digitally from 5th) I'm really happy with the way this is all going so far and I'm so excited to hear the reception for it in full. Airplay has increased as of yesterday 'Pyramid' climbed up 8 places to new high of #10 so keep requesting it on your local radio stations. The video will be hitting music channels by the end of the week as well
Album news update - I now have 7 Tracks complete for the album. including . this is an EXCLUSIVE for you a track written by Celeste titled 'RedLight' I'm in love with it and Celeste's very happy with it as well. I will be finishing the album off after xmas and new year with production on it beginning and MattY will be helping us out with that. As for album names I'm still working on that but I will Reveal the news to you all EXCLUSIVELY on JAN 1ST 2011.
Keep your ears open and eyes pealed over the next few weeks as promotion overload begins I have already got a magazine interview done for the December issue of Attitude, I have also got some T.V promotion lined up Lorraine on the Weds 8th December as well as now also being on Daybreak earlier in the morning. I'm Also going to be on This Morning on Thurs 9th Dec and then on Friday 10th I am once again returning to G.A.Y to sign copies of the single and to perform again (yipppeeeee) I will announce anymore promotion as soon as I get the details confirmed and let you guys know a.s.a.p.

Attitude Magazine Interview DEC Issue 2010
So its midday I'm in a trendy Soho bar awaiting Cherise to arrive for our interview she had so kindly (well she screamed) agreed to give us. I'd done a spot of 'googling' building up to the interview to see what got thrown up only to find out that Cherise used to be in a band... with her sister... twin no less... and has been around for about 6months in the industry without us Attitude people picking up on it... shame on us. I still wasn't overly sure what to expect some gangsta wannabe ho tooting guns n chewing gum or some effing and blinding attituded bitch up.
Then I got the suprise of my life in came this lovely well presented well mannered lady who came over sat down and introduced herself with a kiss on each cheek as Cherise... I was shocked I don't think I've ever had such a pleasent entrance for an interview and not stopping there she asked me what I was drinking and went to the bar for me and herself (await til big fame hits this lady she wont be able to do this then). After a few more little smiles and discussing the bar we got on with the interview.I have to say it's lovely to meet you Cherise and 'Pyramid' is a brilliant song we all love it in our officeCherise: Aww thanks I'm glad you like it and I'm really happy to be hereSo tell us more about you.. as we have very little information about you except the song?Cherise: I am a little bit unknown aren't I (laughs) Well I'm 18 years old I started out in the business over 6months ago with my sister Celeste in a little known duo Ang3licD3vil. We released a few songs here and there , did some gigs but nothing was really going anywhere, had a bust up with the label and management and went our own ways.Sounds interesting so did you not want to continue as a duo?Cherise: Celeste wasn't sure it was the way forward for herself personally and decided to go back into education. I on the other hand had got a taste for the glamour and glitz (laughs) and I've always been very much into music and writing songs and wanted to continue to pursue this.So what happened next after you went own way?Cherise: Well obviously I supported Celeste's decision, she's the brainy twin (laughs) and she supported my decision to continue in the music biz. We'd worked with rapper MattY on bits and bobs during our time and he's been a great support to me as well. I contacted a few labels all knocking me back , no-one could see myself as a solo artist and then I went to Shooting Star Records saw Malory and she offered a contract she believed in me and now I'm gearing up to release 'Pyramid' working on the album and performed at the Chaos Awards a few weeks agoThe Chaos Awards that must of been a good experience?Cherise: It was amazing as a debut solo artist to be given such a start and chance to showcase myself on a big stage infront of some of the music biz biggest and leading artists was so overwhelming but I had a fantastic time and the feedback has been brilliant.So tell us more about the future for Cherise?Cherise: Well 'Pyramid' is doing brilliant getting my sound and name out there its being well recieved and airplay has been building up fantastically towards the release.. 5th December digitally 6th physically (laughs) got to get that in there. After the single I'll be spending bit of time promoting got another gig at G.A.Y during week of release then back to studio to lay down some more tracksWhat can we expect from the album?Cherise: Oh all sorts of things obviously depending how well 'Pyramid' does depends on where I go next but hoping to release the album in spring about March/April time. Celeste's still working with me in some ways she's got a song that could be an album track for me called 'RedLight' and MattY is going to be doing some production on the album in February after his tours finished. CHERISE BLOG 29TH NOVEMBER 2010 heyy guys wow what a week its been the Attitude magazine interview was a blast, its been posted exclusively on this site for you all to read. Been back in the studio during the past week writing and recording trying to get some real good tunes for you guys to enjoy and I feel like we're definately getting there.
Also as I announced a couple of days ago I have recorded a cover of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' it's one of my favourite christmas songs and I thought it be a good way to get us all in the mood for the forthcoming festive period. The songs been sent to radio so you can all request it and will also be streaming on the site from 1st December.
6 days to go til D-Day, as I keep referring to it lol. 'Pyramid' is out to buy from Sunday 5th I am so excited and nervous all at the same time. The response from you the fans and people in the business has been more than I could ever of expected it to of been, I also want to thank you all as 'Pyramid' climbed up to #4 on airplay chart (chart run 18-10-4) I never expected this and was so thrilled with the climb last week to #10 but #4 is just exceptional so thank you all who request it xx. |
