Busted, hehe that brings back some rather embarrasing memorys.
They are however the greatest songwriters in the history of music. "I've Been To The Year 3000/Not Much Has Changed But They Live Under Water." no, actually on second thoughts they're not Whistle

I am looking forward to new albums from
Mammifer
Earth
Oxbow
Tartar Lamb
Master Musicians of Bukkake

And if Trey Spruance can get his godsdamned ass in gear maybe he'll get some version of Secret Chiefs 3 - Book of Souls out by the end of the year, whatever shape that may now take. And if the straight-from-the-horse's-wife's-mouth rumours pan out, a new Old Man Gloom record.

My Morning Jacket-TBA
The Cars-TBA
BECK-TBA (i have a feeling it'll be my album of the year)
Cage the Elephant-Thank You, Happy Birthday! (I didn't like "Shake Me Down" that much, it was still legit, but they're kinda turning into sell outs now. oh well, they're still pretty good.)

I can only presume you've never listened to the likes of Barenaked Ladies or Bowling for Soup, or even Blink 182, if you think Busted have the jokiest song ever :p

On a Busted related note, I interviewed Charlie Simpson last year, cool guy (I may have mentioned this before)
I have also interviewed Architects who were mentioned above

Edit: I absolutely believe Blink 182 will release an album this year. A colleague of mine was interviewing (Twin Atlantic) backstage at a gig of theirs earlier this year and it all seems to be pretty "back to the old days" in camp Blink).

One album I am looking forward to so far is by Twin Atlantic

And not looking forward to a potential album from the Red Hot Chili Peppers: they were my heroes for years, but Stadium Arcadium did enough damage, please, no album with the new lineup, just tour

Oh and there's a new Rush album on the way too. Not that I'm that excited about it, the last two have been mixed affairs.

It was a funny day that one actually. They were playing with Unearth, Parkway Drive, Carnifex, Despised Icon, and Whitechapel. Those bands were all sharing 3 proper tour buses, but Architects weren't.
I was early, and they weren't there yet, so I was just standing out the back of the venue talking with Ken and Slo from Unearth, when this little old tiny transit van comes rolling up. The side door opens and band members, guitars, amps, drums and merch comes pouring out. Turns out Architects were travelling in this tiny van that was barely big enough for their gear, all over the UK, it was mental.

Then to top it off, after they've all got out, Buz McGrath from Unearth comes jogging round corner wearing a grey hoodie with a white tshirt outside it, a green headband, and neon shorts over his jeans. He just casually swaggers over to Architects, says "helloooooo" and walks into the venue.
