David: (Junction Records Representative calling) Daniel… this is David.
Daniel: Hola
David: The executive just finished the listening session to “Rio”. Congratulations, that was pretty amazing. However, he seemed very doubtful of certain things, but overall he was very impressed. So I think you got the green light.
Daniel: Which songs he didn’t like?
David: Well….He wasn’t so sure about “Negro”.
Daniel: What he say?
David: He felt the song title might be too offensive. While it might bring some attention to the album, it’s a bit like walking on the marketing rope.
Daniel: Seriously? Did he even read the song description. It’s not meant to be offensive….Yeah… but he’s not sure if people will overlook the fact the song title is in Spanish.
David: He didn't make a big deal about it, he only pointed it out. He was very impressed with the whole thing.
Daniel: Oh ok, thanks for letting me know man.
