Man, job prospects in Glasgow are fucking dire.
On the plus side though, I am totally committing myself to getting some shit done this weekend, and if even half of it gets done, then that'll be goshdarned awesome. The only excuse now is laziness. And if I can somehow approach it from an unemotional zen-like position of "it's not really me that's doing this, it's something that is happening through me," then hopefully that'll allow me to splurge creativity all over everyone's faces. The first order of business: finish writing, and record a surprisingly complex 10 second song, and sketch out the bones for a longer, roughly 10 minute bass-oriented piece probably named Earthmover to accompany my last successful musical experiment Cloudpiercer.
Or I'll just be lazy and do nothing. |

I feel so stupid right now.
After all those times my ex said I was fat and ugly and almost made me finally kill myself, he said he loves me today and wants to date me again.
We're not dating, but I said we should see each other, make out, talk and see what happens.
The worst part is that things will never be the same, we were talking on msn and could feel the coldness and distance between the two of us, besides he's acting like I was the one that did horrible things but was asking him to forgive me. He said he doesn't even want to have sex with me anymore.
I wish I had the strength to tell him to fuck off and never contact me again. :( |

First and last time trying base last night. I don't think I've ever felt more wrong inside the morning after... it's a bread and OJ day.

Off to Cardiff today. Music session with The Blackout. In six hours, I'll be there, with my third favourite band. I still can't believe that this is really happening. I'll get a right shock when I get there and realise that they do actually exist, they're not a figment of my imagination that I invented while I was drunk at an All Time Low gig. Got an interview tomorrow for a fish factory. Horrendously early hours, low pay, enough fish smell to put me off seafood for life. Awesome! But it's temporary, so if I get it, and the housing benefit ever comes through, and Cam pays me back, that'll be me set for the Canada Plan, so I guess that'd be pretty swell. Course, I don't know if my beard becomes a health and safety concern, but we shall see tomorrow. |

I'm crying my eyes out right now like a little puppy. I have been working so hard at school, and I passed Dr. Maureen's course with a B+!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, as of sunday, Nic and I have decided to go our seperate ways. There were many reasons why, the prime being that at the end of it all, we weren't a very happy couple. Nic and I were and still are best friends, but as a couple, we weren't... happy. We fought alot, and we would sometimes go weeks without seeing or talking to each other. It got to the point where a typical conversation between us would be like, "Hey." "Hey." "What's up?" "Not Much." "Cool." "Yeah." "Yeah." "Hey, I gotta go." "Okay." Our relationship, as blunt and archetypal as it may sound, just wasn't working out. We decided it would just be better if we were friends. Brandon's been a great friend to me. He's given me some amazing advice and has helped me with some pretty hard times over the past couple months. We talked all monday and he helped me feel better after Nic and I broke up. He makes my day every single day, and he makes me happy. With the acception of a situation months ago, he's always there for me and he's always available to talk to when I need help. I guess it really doesn't take alot to know who your friends are. :) Anyway, in other news, the very talented Denis Shaforostov released a new song by his new band Make Me Famous. Well, today (yesterday for the pedants among us) I went to court as part of a hearing on my parents divorce, and the first of two I have to attend. Went well, my mother is in the advantageous position. I visited my dad earlier to ask a couple questions regarding the proceedings - who is currently lodging with his parents for one underhanded reason or another - and got punched by my grandfather twice, trying to get me off his property. He was probably attaining retribution for the fact I ignored his wife's existence on a bus two weeks prior, but it isn't exactly the same as ABH, really... I'd usually say I deserve someone laying one into me!
Needless to say, filing complaint to the police tomorrow morning. If I can get any money out of the old bastard, I will endeavour to get every penny I can. Hell, I'm not even doing this for me, he called my mother a whore a while back, I'm doing it for her. |
