They announced that they're parting ways today. This is pretty terrible news for me. |

They've been done for a while now I think. So it was no surprise to me really. Jack can stand alone anyway as a solo artist in my opinion and he's also got The Racounteurs and The Dead Weather as well. I just think that period of his career has been over for a long time though there was really no nail in the coffin. This is it I guess. |

I agree with this ^ Although it would have been nice to see a new album, I'm not bothered in the slighest.

Yeah, i'm kinda surprised yet not at the same time. They were on hiatus for three-four years now, completely dormant because of some problem Meg had, yet I heard that she recovered from it sounded like they were going to do some touring possibly. well guess not. I'm sure they'll reunite someday |
