Fathers of Fury on Radio 1 with Chris Moyles
“Okay it is just gone 8:30, and you are listening to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio 1. In the studio today, we have the amazing
Fathers of Fury! How amazing is that?”
The boys laugh as Chris introduces them to the audience. Jack is the first to speak; “Thank you Chris. We are so happy that you wanted us on the show!”
“Of course! It is always great to see young British bands taking the world by storm! We see you seem to have made a massive career for yourselves in America already, how did that come about?”
Freddie chuckles, “Straight in with the questions Chris? It just came about through the Warped! Tour. If it wasn’t for that we wouldn’t even have been heard of I don’t think. And also
Suburban Sunrise asked us to join them on tour, but it turns out that we are co-headlining with
INFINTE!!”
Isaac cuts in, “I think it is amazing that we have been noticed by other artists like this, I mean headlining a tour across America is pretty amazing!”
“It is pretty incredible isn’t it?” Chris says; “So when are you coming around the UK then?”
Ollie is the first to speak, “We are coming straight from the ‘Just Another US Tour’ into some UK touring. The dates are up on the website, so check it out! Tickets for the UK tour are out on the 30th of this month, same day as Powerhouse actually!”
“So when do we get to hear Powerhouse then?” Comedy Dave asks.
Jack smiles, “Well we do have an exclusive for you today, we have been told that we can actually give you guys the official first play of Powerhouse, featuring
Stacey Walton. It does officially come out to Radios on Sunday though.”
“Well hand it over then!” Chris almost shouts at the boys.
They all laugh, “Chill Chris! Here you go…”
Chris snatches the CD from Ollie, “Fantastic! You don’t mind if I shove it on now do you?”
“No that’s fine, we have to go in a few minutes anyway because the recording studios are getting annoyed with us being late every day, so we have to get there on time today otherwise they will cancel our remaining sessions, so you can shove it on now Chris.”
“Okay, so who wants to introduce it then?”
Isaac cuts in first, “ME!! Hey everybody, we are Fathers of Fury, and this is the first single from our upcoming second album. This track is called Powerhouse, and it features the incredible
Stacey Walton. Enjoy.”
The song starts and the boys leave the studio.
