The Italian Electronica Queen, Vara Gallo, has had a stellar few months since breaking out into the more mainstream world of music. She is headlining the "Electric Summer" tour from Carnival of Sounds 2013. It is the more fringe tour containing artists that wouldn't fit well in any of the rock oriented tours. Gallo will be touring to support her album "Bitches and Hoes". Joining her is the english pop and funk rock sensation Zayne, as well as the freshly unknown indie-pop artist Yasmine. The "Electric Summer" tour can be caught this summer starting on June 28th as part of the Carnival of Sounds summer concert series.

Vara peaks her head out from her bus, scoping out who was already here. Of course, she had gotten stuck with the two nobodies. That was the way it always worked with her. It never matted how many albums she sold, and how many people shouted her name concert after concert, she was always going to get grouped with a couple of nobodies. She glared a little at the man she saw, obviously one of her openers. She was about to write him off as useless weight on what could be an amazing tour when she heard he speak in a different language. It definitely caught her ear. "Hmm... Game on," She whispers to herself as she flips her hair behind her ear and starts towards him. "Ciao a tutti," She calls to him, waving. "I'm Vara Gallo. You're opening for me." She says to the man with a smile. Act friendly, but show that you are the dominant being. That was how Vara Gallo worked.

Vara shakes Zane's hand, making sure that her grip was a much stronger one that he had. "What language were you speaking before I walked up here?" She asks, pulling out a pack of cigarettes and lighting one, and then offering the back to Zane. "It certainly wasn't Italian..."

"Hm, sexy," Vara says sarcastically, with a laugh and a wink. When you're from Italy and spend most of your time around Italians, a place like Russia seemed like hell to you. "You don't look like most of the Russians I know..."

Vara laughs and spins around. "So happy you noticed that I'm not your typical European either!" She says, a tinge of superiority to her voice. "I'm mixed as well. My mother is Filipino," She explains, taking a long drag of her cigarette and smiles at him.

Vara frowns when she's introduced to Yasmine. She had forgotten that there was going to be another woman on the tour with them. Vara and other women didn't mixed very well... unless, of course, she were sexually attracted to them. But Yasmine? No. She wasn't Vara's type. "Hi, I'm Vara... you're opening for me," She says to Yasmine, almost the exactly same thing she had said to Zane, still showing her dominance to the group. She takes another drag and blows it directly into Yasmine's face with a grin.

"Hmmm..." Vara says as she wraps on arm around Zane's arm playfully, giving a little giggle. "I don't remember... Zane, dear, what were we talking about?" She asks with a smile. Boyfriend or not, she was still going to show her dominance over the tour... and the men.

"Oh really?" Vara asks, pretending to be interested in what Yasmine was saying. "My father is the conductor of the Tuscany Symphony. Maybe you've heard of them? They're worldwide renowned..." Her classic Vara grin -- a mix of seduction and mischievousness -- spreads across her face. "He knows English very well. Along with French, German, Greek, Spanish... I come from a very well-educated family."

Vara laughs at Yasmine, her head rolling back. "You don't even know me and you are already trying to say that I am not well-educated?" She asks, still laughing a little bit. "That was a pathetic response, darling. You need to work on that. Next time, try something a bit more biting. This tour isn't going to be any fun if that's the best you can do." She winks at Yasmine and shakes her head. "I went to Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. Ever heard of it? It's one of the top arts universities in the world. What's your response to that?" She smiles, waiting.

"Oh, much better response, Yasmine!" Vara says back, honestly pleased with that quick progress. "There may be hope for this tour yet." She tucks her hair behind her ears and smiles at both of her tour mates. "So... What kind of music do you two play...?" She asks, as she had never actually ever heard of these two before.
