Bio : Yes ! It's that easy ! But if you want to BE the International Icon , you're gonna have to put in work ! Some artist may have it easy , but to prove you deserve this title , you need to be able to make it to the top without all the perks ! Somethings you will be required to do ? You will have to choreograph your own performances . ( OOC : Meaning you will have to RP out your performance ON YOUR OWN . Though this isn't all about your performances so don't worry about pictures and all . ) You will have to write your own lyrics . ( OOC : This is the key part of this competition . And this is ON YOUR OWN . Though the judge your act is paired up with will be able to see them and give feedback , but THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED to change or suggest lyrics . This is so important that you follow these rules , because this is the most important part of winning . ) You will have to come up with your own beats or ask your judges for connections with someone who can help you guys come up with one . ( OOC : Choose your own sound alike's . Judges can suggest and help though . NOT REQUIRED . ) You are in charge of promoting yourself and you can do so at any extent . Low promotion will most likely get you low votes . Makes friends within the industry and use connections through your judges . ( OOC : This is just extra . Though on the topic , don't just vote for your friend's acts . Be fair ! ) And sooo much more ! What does the International Icon recieve ? A 2 album record deal with Studio60 Records or Tric Jam Records , 1O,OOO,OOO big ones , and all eyes on YOU ! Are you sure that you have what it takes ? Do you want to take this big step ? OOC : If you want to go that extra mile and sign up more than 1 act , then go ahead if you think you can take that heat ;) I want to get in as many sign ups as possible before I start asking for judges . All I need is 9 people , but I wouldn't mind more . In your application , you don't need a full on biography . Just include the date of birth , hometown , maybe some fun facts or something , and the birth name and probably where the stage name came from . I want to say that if you want to participate , then just sign up . Don't worry about if your lyrics are good enough or not . Lets just work to get the forums active again ! It's not all about competition , we want some entertainment too ! You guys can create various story lines . A judge can knock up a contestant . Maybe some behind the scenes drama . What's an singing show without a Mr. She Bangs She Bangs ? And if you don't know who Mr. She Bangs She Bangs is from American Idol season something , then you should reevaluate your life . Seriously . That sounds depressing . |
