The song comes in very serene . It sets a graceful tone but also a feeling of agony . The beat was intended to make one think of loosing someone they love . Not depressed , but a state of where you have managed to cope because you have no control over it . Chloe's voice comes in and starts to sing in a low pitch and her voice fades in and out to kind of make her seem like a memory , reminding you of the person and how important he was to you . Once Chloe gets to the chorus it is a bittersweet feeling . Thinking of how bad you wanted it to be , but realizing that he's gone and its too late . Immediately Rum starts to rap and you can feel how intense it gets . Its a little more of an angrier reaction , but you can tell it comes straight from the heart . Near the end it gets so intense she stops rapping and has to collect herself because of the deep feelings . You hear her talking to the people in the studio and then her voice fades back in and finishes her rap . When Chloe starts singing the chorus again , her voice is so graceful that it smooths over the rough feelings , well enough to end the song .
Rum and Emerald were together for 3 months and it ended just last month when Rum cheated on her with Mariko . Emerald knew this and after Rum and Mariko came over to apologize , Rum decided to put an end to it all by just breaking up with her , and that's when she stabbed herself in front of the two . She was in the hospital for two days , seeming to get better , but then died causing a really big shock to the world . She only got to release one single and it happened to be with Rum . Rum has refused to speak about it in interview and public appearances , but she has continued to tweet that it wasn't her fault Emerald didn't understand that she needed to work on herself . Emerald's fans have taken that in a negative tone . Rum does say that this was not re-released for attention , for apology , or anything else . It was released because she wants to let Emerald know that she still cares deeply about her and that this wasn't to prove to anybody else that she did in the first place .
