The video starts with nothing but the sound of Misu and Miki's heels as they slowly walk to what looks like a glass bench . They have on loose , big t-shirts with black heels . On the wall behind them is the name of the song , ' Not Waiting Any Longer ' , which pops out as the title . It then flashes back to where Misu and Miki finally sit down and they sit there for a second . That's when you hear the drums that were in the original song play and they roll their heads , and a scene of the two grinding in a hip hop style of clothes next to a piano .

Just then it flashes back to Misu and Miki on the glass bench as they roll their heads once agin and then lays down on it . The title of the song on the back wall disappears . Then it flashes to a scene where they are on another glass bench surrounded by backup dancers . Everybody is in black . At first the two just sit there but then they put down both of their legs . They begin to swiftly sway their hips side to side as they pick their hips up off the table . This flashes between scenes of them on both benches during the intro .

After the intro you see Misu and Miki on the bench just sitting again as she sings . As soon as the | Put | comes on , both of them whips their hair back and they slowly begin to bring their legs up . The background dancers are on the floor , swaying their hips hips like in the beginning on the video . Clips of Misu singing to a a few people , almost like she's saying bye to them , shows as the verse continues .
They say good things come to those who wait

( It'll come ) Maybe tomorrow if not today .
But sometimes you have to start over in life ,
You have to actually put in work this time .
( They don't just open up ) You have to spread your wings to fly ,
Even if it's hard to say goodbye .
Once the first verse ends and the more upbeat chorus comes on , they begin to do choreographed dances flashing between scenes of just the two of them and scenes of them with the background dancers . At points of the dance , they close up on Miki and Misu as they sing the chorus and dances to the beat .

I'm in my youth and I'm not getting any younger ... ( Younger , younger , younger )
Even though I have my doubts , I'm getting out of here
I got more to focus on than just stress and fear

So I'm not waiting any longer .
When the chorus finishes , Miki's part comes on . During Miki's part a lot goes on in the video . At first , Miki seems to be in a bedroom thinking about her decision . She looks like she is sad as she thinks about who she's going to leave behind , which seems to be a boy when she looks down at a picture and then shows a scene of them hugging and kissing in/on a car .
Don't try to stop me ,
Don't try to talk me ... out of it .
Because I'm not listening ,
I'm going through with this .
To you it might be irrational , but to me it makes perfect sense .
And I admit it . Maybe it is a little confusing ,
But I'm just ambiguous
Whoops , I mean ambitious , with ambitions
That probably say a lot about who I am and what I'm becoming
Molding , into something imperfect
Just to make myself worth it ...
The chorus starts back up and you just see Misu and Miki dancing together for the whole time .

The chorus ends and the instrumental interlude begins to play . You see Misu and Miki back on the benches and they pick their legs up and turns around on the bench just as you see a close up on Misu and then a scene of her dancing alone . Then you get a close up on Miki and multiple scenes of her dancing alone . Once the instrumental interlude is over , the bridge begins and just before the part where Misu blows , you see Miki dancing again , doing a dance that looks like she's about to hit something just as it cuts off to the both of them dancing . When they do the dance moves , it ends in slow motion . Same thing happens when they are in front of a piano and dressed in white as they dance . They start off a dance move and then it ends in slow motion , to add a dramatic effect to . This continues until the song gets to the last line and you see Miki and Misu on top of the piano they were just dancing in front of as the camera zooms out and the video fades out .
