Barbarian: ..... A good seven years I think! It's crazy, wow, now that I think about it....
DJ: But you know, I have to say this and this is not me trying to charm you or make things extremely awkward because you are practically like my sis, but you are SO PRETTY in person! like...
Barbarian: Awkward!
(giggles like a school girl, feeling embarrassed) DJ: Not but listen
(laughs) there's a reason as to why I say that, and it is because I be looking at some celebs on TV, and how they look in the magazine adds, in the videos and all that however when you see them in person face to face......... they ain't all that. You feel me?
Barbarian: Well you know some people are just really photogenic and they make pictures look good but in person they don't really live up to their airbrushed images. Some people are naturally pretty, some people need heavy airbrush. But let me not get all egotistical
(laughs like a school girl), I personally at one point was insecure about myself, because I was always very thin and my boobs aren't all that big, but I do have a booty and I guess that makes up for it
(laughs like a school girl).
DJ: Not that you need it obviously but have you ever thought about plastic surgery? What are your views on that?
Barbarian: I don't have an issue with it but I personally haven't done any sort of plastic surgery on my body. I'm all natural! There are people in the industry that will criticize you for having a small chest, or small thighs, it could be anything, but you have learn to work above those types of critiques. I've always been a very sporty fit girl, so I never had an issue with anything but my chest. I did once think about getting breast enlargement, but I think plastic surgery is the easy way out. Unfortunately, for some girls they feel more comfortable with that sort of thing, so I can't knock them. In the end is about doing what makes you happy, but I've learned to love my body for the way it is and that's true self empowerment that I want to promote to young girls or young women my age.
DJ: But you know some men don't even want too much junk in the front, but I do find that to be very powerful that you comfortable with yourself and it shows! But all right! Now I hate to take this to the negative side but what happened on twitter last night? You were going in on that girl...
Barbarian: Oh you mean my little beef last night? You know that twitter drama has no value towards my life or my career, I'm living my life, I'm blessed to be doing what I do and I would not trade it for the world, so I'm not gonna focus my energy on all that right now. I think there's a right time and place to put a bitch in her place and that was last night, and I did so I'm gonna leave it there and I'm not gonna carry it over and drag it forever. You know, I just don't like people who try to knock others down, especially up and coming artist like me. I am a strong person and I will not tolerate bullshit from anyone, especially from an artist like her. She's fairly new as well and she's already walking tall and that's a very bad sign, it shows that she's not in it for the right reasons. So I think that's over. I'm gonna put my energy now towards my music and my career. I thinks that's the right thing to do.
DJ: Do you think that you guys can eventually come into terms with each other and be far away friends? You know like Tisha and Stephanie Fierce, they pretty much squashed everything and they both decided bury the hatchet.
Barbarian: Unlike Tisha and Stephanie, She's never been my friend to start with, so there's no relationship there for us to make up or anything. She came at me first, so I can't bring people like that in to my life, I'm sure she doesn't want anything to do with me either, so I think it's better to leave it like that.

Barbarian: Thank you so much, I really hope the listeners loved it as well! This is so exciting, I'm about to cry
(giggles like a school girl) I really wanted to something fun and something that will grab people's attention. I think as an artist you always have to do something that will grab people's ears. This song in particular is not me trying to be all artsy and serious. It's poking fun at myself and playing with pop music a little. I also didn't want anything too dramatic, but as the singles keep pouring out you're going to see the versatility in my music, there's much more to look forward to, but for now Work My Body is the song!
DJ: Now are you doing a video for this song soon? I'm sure that's gonna be hot!
Barbarian: I actually already shot the video. I've been very low key on my music but behind the scenes I've been working my little tail off you know
(winks) The video is gonna take the song to a whole new level. It's gonna be sexy, fun and flirty. The concept is somewhat comedic. I wanted the video to compliment the song and I think people will really enjoy it! I don't have a premiere date just yet, but it will be this month for sure!
