Mariko kobayashi isn't exactly well known name. Her stint on the Jen Armstrong tour was well recieved....if confusing. The headliner was positive and kind. Her opening act of Mariko was noisy,disturbing ,and dark. We visit Mariko in her home town of Osaka and get a few words with her.

youve released two or three 7"s, will you ever release a full album?No. I am a small girl,I can handle 7"s all day long. But 12"s are just too much for me. * she covers her mouth as she laughs.* I just like releasing 7"s. they are cheap to buy and offer just enough music . The iPod was the death knell of the album. One or two songs from one artist,then it's time to change to the next song.
but your music is only released on vinyl. Most vinyl users want the entire album experience.Then they'd better sit close to the turntable with a stack of my singles. I do not cater to lazy people. Small records ,like small people,are cuter!
