"A week? Looks like I am kidnapping you for A week then" Mariko giggles before playfully tapping Nina's hand. " um,we are taken too,missy. You never gave or received a pink belly as a little girl?" She asks with a raised eyebrow. She cracks up at Ninas working out of acceptable commercial length and time slot. " no ginsu knife ads either.it would be too corny. I want to hock something like excercise equipment that requires a blatantly vulgar motion." Mariko drives this fact home by adding her own pelvic thrusts,much to the amusement of people around them. mariko grabs a hold of nina's hand. the first step of a successful kidnapping is a firm grasp on your prey...she assumes. she never really has kidnapped,even a willing person,before. mariko scrunches her nose at nine. "nina chan,you must have had some rough friends. pink bellies are usually just playing around sort of things. like kancho or wet willies." mariko says,looking rather concerned at just what nina and aire do to each other. "Coney Coney Coney head." Mariko sings at the befuddled man. Who has now started consciously rubbing his head. Mariko tries to rush through the crowd,shouting in Japanese for people to move. Security is starting to show up. Things are getting heavy.mariko makes dive, trailing Nina,and they both bust through The doors and into the lobby and freedom. "I had a room here. Mariko sat in her car. Well,her rented car. She took a day off from warp to get this done. Mariko displayed a hard and cold demeanor, but she was actually just fragile and would have dealt with this by not dealing with it. Talking with vara bolstered her courage,as it always had. In a very real way mariko tried to emulate vara. Vara was someone nobody fucked with. She did things her own way,and didn't care what people thought. That was how mariko wanted to be. As it sat now,she wasn't even mad at Nina. She was mad at herself for putting up with things being so...lax,that a relationship was possible right under her nose. With a final sigh,she opens the door and walks up to Ninas door. She gives it 3 firm and sharp knocks.

at the sight of nina,mariko clenches her fist tightly. she wants to punch nina right in the nose,but is pretty sure nina could take her. very sure,actually. "oh indeed." mariko says softly,arranging her hair. "i wanted to do this in person." she says flatly.

mariko raises her eyebrow. the fact nina was unapologetic for making her look like a fool infuriated her. "fine. find someone else to be your pet or whatever the hell i was to you. " mariko says curtly before turning on her heels.

mariko instantly turns back to face nina. the fact she was completely unapologetic about this only served to infuriate her more. "insecurities?" she asked with a raised eyebrow and crossing her arms. "i was very secure until i saw the pictures. how am i to know it is aire in those pictures? for all i know i am speaking to her now! i cannot believe that is your bullshit excuse! who is going to buy that? i am sorry,but that coupon is expired!" mariko rattles off. she had been holding things in for a long time now,and the floodgates were open.

mariko sucks her bottom lip. nina was right. that is what she was supposed to do. in fact nina had done the same for her. there was a time of inappropriateness with vara. "i...i did trust you. but...the pictures and how everything fit together. it was impossible for me to think otherwise. we are never together. we are human,so you must have...needs. if i am not meeting them,who is?" mariko says quietly. nina effectively disarmed her with her words. mariko was anything but the tough person she pretended to be. "i am wrong.but of course i can tell your voices apart.aire wished she had your voice." mariko says,looking at her feet.she did love nina's voice. it was pleasing,humorous and very attractive to mariko.

"i was happy because i was talking to you." mariko says,looking up to keep her tears in place.mariko adored nina on one hand,yet disliked how she was treated. as the words were exchanged,she realized she could not expect nina to read her mind. "seeing you always made me so happy.it was always something rare and to be treasured." she nearly whispers.she was stuck. she had to save face about the article,but being here with nina made the whole thing seem so absurd. nina surely was as faithful to her as she had been to nina. "before we stop i want to know. you love me and would not hurt me,yes?" mariko asks,putting her hands in her back pockets. " be honest. i came here fully ready to end this,so there is no pressure to please me." she says looking to nina's eyebrows. it was a great way to seem like you where looking into someone's eyes when you really were not

mariko gives a little shurg. her need to appear strong and independent took precedence over all. during her years of previous abuse,the illusion of pride was all she had. "i was simply too proud to tell you." she says. finally honestly putting her feelings out there. mariko was just as much to blame as nina for the situation they found themselves in. mariko puts her hands to her mouth when nina says that she loves her.it made mariko feel foolish for an entirely different reason.why could she not see it before? "i...love you too,nina." mariko says this softly,before finally looking nina in the eyes. " i love you. that is why i lost my shit. i loved you for months,but did not say it. i love you." mariko says with her voice cracking.she had held it in for so long,but could not resist finally saying it. "i am sorry,but anal is out. i do not care how much we have made up." mariko half giggles and cries as nina speaks. she knew in her heart that nina would not have run around on her,but the vain part wanted everyone else to know too.
