Introducing: Da BBC Kingz, The New Messiahs of the Rap Game

Introducing Da BBC Kingz.

Straight outta Compton, Minnesota, Da BBC Kingz are the next big group to hit the rap industry since D12 and the Backstreet Boys. The trio of Richard "The D" Davis, Dylan "Lil Dill" Harris, and Andrew "Smelly Balls" Johnson have been friends since childhood. Throughout their childhoods, the friends would engage in rap battles with other fellow rappers at the local clubs or playgrounds. However, they never collaborated with each other prior to this project, mostly working independently. But neither of the three had any major accomplishments after high school, with Lil Dill having the most success with his writing credit on R Kelly's hit single "Piss on You".

It wasn't until the summer of 2010 that the group was formed. Lil Dill encountered The D working as a bartender at a local Minnesota bar "The Stanky Cunt", and the two reconnected after not having seen each other for several years. At the time, Lil Dill was struggling in Hollywood as an artist, mostly writing demos for other rappers. The D had fallen into a depression in the mid-2000s after going bankrupt from a bad investment into a now-defunct strip club, "The Virgin Larry". After a years of hardship, including an addiction to boxed wines and smoking oregano that he was convinced was weed by his dealer, The D managed to land the bartending job. The two spoke about how they were the big kids on the block during high school. They discussed how their rap careers were dying, but said that they agreed to keep in-touch if anything big happened. Later that week, Smelly Balls flew in from Boston and called The D to pick him up from the airport. Out of the three, Smelly Balls was the only one to attend a university. He obtained a degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Harvard University. Although Smelly Balls was a successful OB/GYN in the Boston area, the odor from his testicular region had put his career in jeopardy. He mentioned this in the car to The D, who went on to mention his conversation with Lil Dill.

After several talks, the trio decided to meet together and work on some preliminary stuff. They immediately hit things off on a high note. Before long, the three friends were performing together in clubs as Da BBC Kingz. They started writing rap tunes together and worked on several mixtapes. However, they had no plans on producing an album until they were signed by a label. It took them until March, 2013 for an A&R man from Ratchet Hoes Records to discover them. He brought them in to meet the executives of the record company, and the two sides agreed to a ridiculous six-album deal. The CEO of Ratchet Hoes Records, Dick Hertz, defended the signing.

"These three gentlemen are the future of rap," said Hertz. "As a record label, we are proud to announce our long-term agreed with Da BBC Kingz. Their talents and abilities make all the bitches squirt and all the other ballers go cray become jell."

To let the world know who they are, Da BBC Kingz released their debut single "Dem Bitches Ain't Sheeeeeeet". The song became a big hit single around the world, as it reached the top 10 in 69 in different countries. This led to the release of the Hoodrat Niggaz EP in October.

The group is making a meteoric rise in the music industry, having already been nominated for 10 Grammy Awards without having an actual LP released yet.

"Oh ye, we da shyt now mah nigga smoking a cigga!" said The D, in an interview the Hustlers Magazine. "The album got use some REAL cred now, mothafucka!"

Da BBC Kingz have announced the release of their debut full-length album From Rags To Bithces, set for an early-2014 release date. Keep your eye on these guys. They will make some big news in the following years to come.
