Johnny Guitar has had a crazy four years, his last album The Bastards Of Nashville was a mess. It was recorded when everyone was high on cocaine and drunk all the time. An overdose in 2012 made him go to rehab and sober up. Johnny has laid low since coming out of rehab, mainly sleeping and recording in his Nashville studio. Johnny has written and recorded about 10 songs for his future album forbidden lovers. In 2013 a rumor was started that the long awaited Heroin album would finally be released but when the rumor was put to rest Johnny said out takes from the Heroin album would be released as a new album called Japanese Rose. Problems with his record label and management scrapped the whole Idea of the album. So in July 2013 Johnny sat down in his studio free of record labels and everything else and started working on a new album due in 2014. When asked how the project was going Johnny said in November 2013 that writers block is killing me. 6 days into 2014 he got the news his father had passed away suddenly. So in three days Johnny wrote songs that would be a tribute to his dad for the upcoming album. Since his first album was a drugged up mess he has decided to go back to his country/ folk roots and make a great album for everyone to enjoy. The new album has no release date as of yet.
