Title: Crazy
Length: 3.20
Genre: Eurodance, House, Dance
Label: Permanent Reminder
Written By: Sabrina Franc
Produced By: Matt Young, Melva Griffin

'Crazy' is the second single by South African dance/house singer Sabrina Franc, the song will serve as the second single from her upcoming debut album which has yet to have been given an official title, Crazy comes in at a total time of three minutes and twenty seconds, the song was written solely by Sabrina herself without the help from Dominic Brown or Sunny Monroe whom both helped her write her first single for this single her label boss Matt Young to charge of producing mixing and mastering the track but her also called in The Dolls member Melva Griffin to help him, the song is set for release on the third of April and will be distributed and sent to radio by Permanent Reminder,Crazy is a Eurodance song was a House and Dance back beat, the song has a very strong club feel to it and is perfect for this time of year with summer nearing, the song is about trying to re connect with a previous lover who keeps falling in and out of love with you/someone.

The song starts with a massive house influenced beat as Sabrina can be heard singing the first verse of the song, she sings in her usual South African accent which also gives the song a slightly reggae feel, Sabrina's vocals in the first verse are strong and powerful but also sutle as she is trying to prove her point in the lyrics, after she has finished singing the first verse the beat breaks down again into a almost trance like beat before Sabrina can heard singing the first chorus of the song again singing with her native African accent but instead of being powerful like she was in the verse she opt on the chours for a softer and lighter tone to her voice, as she finishes singing the first verse the beat changes again returning to how it was in the first verse being much lighter, Sabrina then begins to sing the second verse this time adding a little aggression into her vocals to try and get across the lyrics, despite being with aggressive is sound Sabrina still manages to maintain her strong vocal, after Sabrina finishes the second verse, the beat then picks up again as the chorus kicks in and Sabrina's voice can be heard singing the second chrous of the song again just like in the first chorus she sings with a lot more softness and gentleness to her voice, but this chrous she also adds a few tricks in to spice the second chrous up again and make it different slightly from the first chorus, after Sabrina finishes singing the second chorus, the beat once again calms down as Sabrina can be heard singing the first and only bridge section of the song, singing with a lot of fire and aggression almost coming of a angry, after she finished the bridge the beat picks up and becomes heavy again as Sabrina can be heard singing the third chorus of the song, this time completely changing the it from the way she sang the first two choruses, by singing this chrous a lot of aggression and fire rather than the soft tones of the first two choruses, after the third chorus Sabrina repeats the chorus again but this time she whispers it and her voice fades out with the music and the song ends.

The music video for the song sees Sabrina in a club firstly arriving in a car and then being seen in the club dancing with a few background dancers the will also be a section parts of the lyrics will come up on to the screen just to add to her fans enjoyment of the song and video, The song received mixed and favorable reviews from the music critics, praising the tune, whilst not being that pleased with the lyrics. Fraser McAlpine from the BBC Chart Blog said that, "Yes English is not her first language - she's South African - and she is clearly using the words to this song as a kind of percussion to break up the music. Unless you good-at-crossworders have anything to add at this point, Assuming there IS no answer, 'Crazy' serves to prove that sense is not a prerequisite of happiness in music. In fact, it's where a lot of pop songs fall down. The recent crop of SYNCO singles all tripped over the same problem, attempting to find a way for the girls in the band to describe how sexy they are. We don't really need that bit explaining. Thankfully, Sabrina's pleading gobbledegook is a far more appealing proposition, especially when those ticky synths vaguely recall the glory of Boney M's 'Ma Baker' (LOOK! Lady GaGa's fashion parents!). You could argue that this is fly-by-night dance music, that nothing really happens after the first minute or so and that it won't stand the test of time. It's basically Jedward's record contract in song form. But that's missing the point. This IS now, if you can't enjoy transitory stuff while it's happening, it doesn't make you too clever to be duped by silly tricks, it makes you the guy at the party who sits in the corner and won't dance. Perfect crossworder material, in other words, Robert Copsey from Digital Spy enjoyed the song, admitting that he discovered Sabrina's music and "Crazy" quite late, "You know when you feel like you're the last person to know what's going on? Well, that's exactly how we feel about Sabrina's new single -probably because it isn't actually that new. The South African-born singer released the song on her own budget album so what's all the fuss about? Well, the track is essentially two-and-a-half minutes of pure and stylised European electro-house centered around a nagging hook, Sleekly produced by Matt Young, its biggest draw is that it's so simple. Simple but effective though - expect its trancey, hypnotic beats to coax you onto the dancefloor next time you're out on the town and up for a strut."Paul Lester from, The Guardian said in his Sabrina review that "Things get better on the album's title track, which at a pinch suggests Ibiza-era New Order in a clinch with David Guetta, though that's being generous (ie exaggerating aka lying). The "la la la" bit by the male singer sounds as though a hunky waiter from the local beach cafe wandered into shot."

Lyrics:

boy, were have you been all my life
i have searching high and low
up and down like a yoyo
trying to find you come on were are you boy

everyday i go on the prowl looking for my baby
i need him, i want him, he drive me insane
i am going crazy because of him
crazy oh so crazy because of him

just then when i think i have found you
you seem to disappear again
boy and searching for you reloads over again
until i find you again boy again

everyday i go on the prowl looking for my baby
i need him, i want him, he drive me insane
i am going crazy because of him
crazy oh so crazy because of him

why does he do this to me
why does he make me feel this way
why does he give me hell
why does he drive me crazy

everyday i go on the prowl looking for my baby
i need him, i want him, he drive me insane
i am going crazy because of him
crazy oh so crazy because of him

why does he drive me crazy
everyday i go on the prowl looking for my baby
i need him, i want him, he drive me insane
i am going crazy because of him
crazy oh so crazy because of him
