"The Past, the Present and the Future of Pop Vol. 2" is the 8th studio album by american pop singer Stephanie Fierce set to be released through the support of North Hill Records. The album serves as a sequel or modern spin to the the debut album of the very same name "The Past, Present and Future of Pop". For this title, Fierce had reunited with all 12 producers from the first album as co-writer and co-producer and production consisted of 40 days. Ironically, this is the same time Jesus Christ spent with his disciples after resurrection. The album is set to be released October 10, 2014 in Africa & Australia and October 12 Internationally.
The LP comes shortly after the release of
"Love is Lust"; which is the previous full length studio album that was released on July 8, 2012. The album, which failed to meet commercial success in comparison to previous albums, but was proceeded with an more successful EP titled
"Man Music" which went on to sell over 3 million copies. Despite the success of the singles, Fierce unveiled in a personal interview that the release of "Love is Lust" was mishandled, leading to a "frustrating" experience throughout. The album's title "Immortal" had been revealed through a personal open letter Fierce had blogged as part of a New Years gift to her fans on December 31st 2012. The concept of the album was unveiled even further upon the release of an interview with GQ magazine were Stephanie discussed the inspiration of the album title and what fans may expect musically back in January of this year. Fierce went on to say that for the first time her very own haters inspired the title of one her albums through a song she had written. During the interview, the song was revealed to be "Insane", which the leading single off the new album. The album's concept simply demonstrates strength, love and power and overcoming your biggest obstacles in life therefore feeling "Immortal". However that concept was later on scrapped, and song "Insane" was left a stand alone release single. "Bless Me" was then released as the official lead single and the song went number one both the Airplay and Digital songs chart. The song is the only song on the album, aside from "Insane" to get an exclusive single release. Despite the success of both singles the album was scrapped. Later on the album title's was changed to Amplified and the idea of a visual album was then presented. The album was also scrapped for undisclosed reasons.

"I gather all of the people that I worked with first album. Some of them I had seen at celebrity events or award shows, but most of them I hadn't seen in years, so it was very akward but exciting at the same time" -
Stephanie Fierce (Writer and producer of all tracks) "Pop Culture is a really Trippy fun funk song, something completely different from what we recorded with Pop World, though similar in title" -
John Hill (Producer of "B.I.C./Rap Chanteuse")"Me and Stephanie Fierce worked on the first album for Shine and it was a very memorable recording session for me. I remember how much she wanted Shine to be a single but her label didn't let her. Hopefully Suga Papi, has enough suga for them" -
Sean Garret (Producer of "Suga Papi")"I never thought I would pen a song with Fierce, because I'm usually behind the lenses and the imagery of it all, but it was something that ended up working on it's own, I hope people enjoy it" -
Chris Cunningham (Co-Writer of "Fine")"Knowing that sort of in a way, her record label was pimping her out. I kind of wanted Fierce to take a different direction with her music and that's when we recorded "Where I Belong". I allowed her to take full control of the record and actually write the lyrics to the song. The song went #1 in the US Hot 100 Billboard charts, but it was a ballad, so that made it even more special." -
Ryan Tedder (Co-writer and Producer of 'Heroine') "We have seen her grow over the years and it's been an amazing journey for her. I think that for her to revisit her old days were it all started for her shows how humble she is, despite it almost being a decade." -
Rockwell -
(Producer of "Flashback")"I originally produced the beat of 90's Girl for the intention of including it on my new album, but when I showed the demo to Steph, she said she would never talk to me, if I didn't let her have it. I think that I made the best decision by giving it to her, she did so much justice to it" -
Daniel (Producer and co-writer of "90's Girl") "The song we recorded for this album is insane, It sounds so different from anything she's recorded" -
Diplo (Producer of "Pop Culture" and "Set Me Loose")"When we first worked with Fierce it was an incredibly short recording session, she came in, we greeted, recorded and bounced. Back then her name was actually credited as Stephanie Rios, and Fierce was just her stage name, right until the album was re-issued worldwide. So that's how long ago it was. Knowing that she had no choice but to record these songs, we still knew this girl was talented and was going to do something special. Her voice was incredible and she was only 19 years old." -
Tricky Stewart & Terius Youngdell Nash (Writers of and Producers of "Fine", "Letting Go" & "Hot Shot Part. 2") "It was great re-connecting with all of these people. The album became a great collaborative effort, and it turned out amazing. Heroine is one of those records that will be talked about from time time. I love it when my wife, goes simple and soulful, that's when her voice really shines" -
