It seemed that in 2014 no one literally seen Sabina on the come up. The beautiful 22 year old Romanian singer who had been trying to gain her popularity up since 2010 has finally seemed to find her big break. First starting out in a short lived Romanian band called "Caliente" with two friends and three years later being featured on popular production duo's Play & Win big hit "Don't Try and Stop Me" the single gave Sabina large recongnition in her home country of Romania but she remained relatively unknown anywhere else, that is until 2014. Out of no where, Sabina quickly dropped a free EP entitled simply "The Sabina EP" and the EP became a major internet success. After the EP was set for free downloads, her debut single "Drunk Enough" was sent to radio. The single was supported massively on radio and became a big solo hit for the new unsigned artist and a critically acclaimed one at that. Drunk Enough even spawned a very popular catchphrase now used frequently ["Are you drunk enough to say I love you"]. The single was a sexy, husky sensual track that set Sabina among the standout artists of 2014. Now that Drunk Enough, although still popular, has run it's course Sabina is looking to show that she is far from a one hit wonder. Releasing the second and final radio single in "Show's Over" as Sabina gets ready to release her full length debut studio album and signing her first record deal that has yet to be announced.
"Show's Over" is the fifth track on the Sabina EP, and the second single by Sabina. This continues the vulnerable side of Sabina. Over the massively catchy electro driven track, Sabina coos over the bouncy beats about regretting missing out her chance on a person she holds a large interest in and since she's left high and dry after the male catalyst fines a girlfriend, it's her duty to wipe herself clean of all the memories she has of the guy. During the chorus that can easily get you bouncing your head, Sabina's murmers: Scrubbing my back and scrubbing my knees|Washing away your memory |Won't feel clean 'til you're off of me. Although a vulnerable single, this track is perfect for the clubs and has an empowering message behind it that goes perfectly with the general feel good production values by Play & Win. This track is known to be a personal favorite of Sabina's as she wrote this track after falling for a guy but never really getting a chance to make anything serious happen, instead, another girl came along and got the guy and it made her extremely sad, but in the end she had to release herself from all the memories now that the show was over.
Show's over, girl got the boy
Must be nice living in his world
I came so close, but I was blind
Now I regret what I left behind
Guess I should have grabbed him
I don't know what happened
So, I'll
Rinse you off like a bad disease
Scrubbing my back and scrubbing my knees
Washing away your memory
Won't feel clean 'til you're off of me
So, I'll
Rinse you off like a bad disease
Scrubbing my back and scrubbing my knees
Washing away your memory
Won't feel clean 'til you're off of me
Can't pretend that it doesn't sting
This broken heart I'm carrying
Thinking about it makes me cry
Want you so bad, my throat is dry
Work so hard to disguise the pain
But what you do drives me insane
So, I'll
Rinse you off like a bad disease
Scrubbing my back and scrubbing my knees
Washing away your memory
Won't feel clean 'til you're off of me
So, I'll
Rinse you off like a bad disease
Scrubbing my back and scrubbing my knees
Washing away your memory
Won't feel clean 'til you're off of meCan't react to what wasn't there
Evidence that I've rubbed bare
Resurfacing when we next meet
So this process I repeat
Cause all's unfair in this war
Memories sting like an open sore.
So, I'll
Rinse you off like a bad disease
Scrubbing my back and scrubbing my knees
Washing away your memory
Won't feel clean 'til you're off of me
So, I'll
Rinse you off like a bad disease
Scrubbing my back and scrubbing my knees
Washing away your memory
Won't feel clean 'til you're off of me
