On October 11th, 2014 a bomb hit the Youtube world. No, not an actual bomb but you get the point. A bomb that goes by the name of 'Payton' hit the youtube world when a track entitled "Bend Over Miss" was posted through the musicians youtube account at approximately 5:40 PM. Since then, the song has already boasted nearly a million views in less than 48 hours. Not too shabby for an seemingly unknown new artist that we really know nothing about. So who exactly is he? When we did some research the fresh faced 16 year old PuertoRican singer was born in Puerto Rico but currently lives in Las Vegas has been trying to get his feet in door of music for quite a while now. Back in 2011, at the tender age of just 13 years old the hopeful sent out music to different record labels in hopes of getting signed, unfortunately at the time nothing exactly stuck out to those record labels and aside from getting an offer from The Underground no one exactly had an interest in Payton. If you take a look at his youtube page and listen to his older demos you might get an idea as to why the labels didn't really see much in him, although he had a distinguishable voice like any other pubescent 13 year old, the low quality recordings sound as if they were recorded in the comfort of his own home and that isn't exactly what you would want to send out to record labels in hopes of getting signed. Over the next three years we are assuming Payton has come into one with himself. Not much is known about the now 16 year old and we are hoping with the exposure he is quickly picking up, he will open up about his emergence as a singer. Now onto the actual song right?
The track that was posted is entitled "Bend Over Miss" and shows a much more "mature" Payton so to say. In the artwork, the young star is seen grabbing his package and it seems as if the innocence has since gone out of the window since he was 13 years old. In the track that already boasts a staggering 989,000 plus views in such a short amount of time clearly has to do with the subject of the song. The catchy pop song that has been shared numerous times on Facebook as well includes a catchy whistle notes, guitars and synths talks about a quite interesting subject. When the song starts off you may exactly think its any ole 'love interest' pop song but when he gets to line number 5 where Payton coos Dreaming about a student and teacher romance| When she asks a question, my palms begin to sweat; you will most likely raise an eye brow and as you continue to listen Payton is singing about actually having the hots for a teacher! Now this is certainly the first time we have heard of a song with this subject so even I was a bit shocked to be listening to these lyrics. Over the a rising beat Payton, who does have an enjoyable voice talks about longing for his teacher and over whistling notes he sings about wanting his teacher to actually bend over. Like really? Can this song get any more perverted?
The track has since garnered a massive opinionated view and the views are growing every day. Over the past view days the track has picked up more dislikes, then likes and the comments get all the more interesting. From people either being in a total outrage and having arguments over whether or not the song is justifiable, people agreeing with the subject of the song because every one has had the 'hots' for a teacher, people complimenting Payton for being brave enough to release a song of this nature, and others complimenting or disapproving of the way the song sounds but many calling it catchy, fun and infectious. As we know, over the past few years teacher/student relationships have become a serious issue in many schools where teachers are caught having inappropriate relationships with students, so we can understand why some would be a bit angry at the songs subject but it's 2014 and everyone has had that teacher they couldn't get out there heads and it seems that Payton is the only one brave enough to sing about it. So what's your take? Give the song a listen and let us know what you think about Payton and this new track, "Bend Over Miss". Could this finally be the big break for the puertorican hopeful?
