It's the last 'teaser' prior to the release of the band's debut album, A Journey Through The Innermost which will be released this January. This is the second release of Aeons with the Songs To Love And Die By label. It is availalbe in three formats: CD, Digital Download and Limited-Edition 7" Picture Vynil. The song was written by Bill Owens and was recorded at the Rever Studios (London) in May 2014. It's produced by the band's leader, Bill Owens and features Lily Abbot as a guest vocalist. By Your Side is one of the band's most emotional and low tracks from the album. It has a lot of progressive elements and it's described as a power-ballad by band members. It's one of the only songs without growl or screamed vocals, this song features completely clean voices with the special contribution by Lily Abbot. "This is just great people. I'm completely excited for you to listen to this song, we have the greatest, the queen of rock, Lily Abbot, singing with us on this song...It's just incredible guys! She has one of the best and deepest songs I've ever heard so when I wrote this song I always thought we had to have her singing. This is a really emotional and deep song, it's not so heavy or fast, but I really love it. BYS has a lot of melodies, an incredible lead-guitar work and totally clean vocals. The lyrics are really deep and romantic I think, I obviously wrote them thinking in the love of my life...They're very personal and sweet, I really like them. This is one and only power-ballad on the album and I believe it turned out greatly!
