 hindsight.Genre:: Alternative/Dark-Pop Location: Los Angeles, California Label: Currently Idependant Years Active: 2015 - Present  who is "hindsight."?hindsight. is the brain child of lead songwriter/vocalist, Alex Prescott, age 20 from Amityville New York. Set to be one of the industry's hottest new acts, hindsight. brings their own unique spin to modern pop music by blending it with dark elements heavily influenced by minimalist EDM a long with the familiarity of Alternative hard hitting, rock n roll. Started in 2013 by Alex Prescott, the band itself has seen numerous changes but has stayed rooted with Prescott being the main face, and creative force behind this beast that is ready to unleash itself upon modern music. Prescott is currently joined by young guitarist, Robert Hedden, and long time friend and bassist Jon Mcclure. With their unique sound, hindsight. is one of the few bands that may be able to find itself on any tour, whether it be opening for a high energy rock band Reported Failure, or opening for a top 40 sensation like Dominic Brown, hindsight., can and will find its place on the bill and will win over any audience they're put in front of. When asked about the status of the band, and about the direction she see's the band going, Prescott had this to say, "Music is ready for something new, and that's what we are. We are that something new. We've released demo album's that have gained enough traction for us to prove that we're worth people's time, and with us being such a new band, it'll be difficult to convince people we're worth it, but if they don't believe us, we'll show them and do it ourselves without anyone's help. It might sound douchey, but like I said, it's time for a change, and that's why we're here. To be that change." hindsight. is currently in the process of writing/recording their first official, and credited release "Static" a seven track EP set to be released this summer. "Static" is sure to be a tell sign of whether or not the industry is ready for said "change" or if it's going to continue to sit and stay stagnate.
