After the mainstream success of C.M.B.D first solo single "Diseased", a new solo single has arrived by C.M.B.D's leader Chaelin. The new single is named "Where Did The Time Go" and was written by Danish/Swedish song writing duo of Scandinavia, Medina Valbak & Max Martin. The single was produced by Hip-Hop/Pop Producers Nic Nac, Aiidan Davis & well critically acclaimed producer Timbaland. "Where Did The Time Go" tells of a selfish woman who lost the love of a person who admired her so much, even if the love was not mutual. Time went by and the man who loved the woman so dearly began to fade away and ultimately fall of the face of the earth. The woman during that time began to admit she secretly loved the man, but didn't know how to show it at the time. She also tells how she secretly loved how he would try to please her with his romantic words even if she hid the pleasure with unsatisfaction gestures. Through the ending of the song the woman finally begins to lose it and wishes for the man to comeback to her, even if the damage she has done to his heart is unfixable and his return to her would never come due to her selfishness.
BACKGROUND:
"Where Did The Time Go" was not Chaelin's original single, Warner Music and Songs to Love and Dy By have been reported to be clashing heads to see where to go with the new Girl Group, many singles were being announced, but none released, Chaelin finally sat down with both labels and they made the arrangement to release the single with little announcement to keep Media backlash from overshadowing the new single. A few updates have also been released to the media about the production of C.M.B.D's compilation album and the official theme, one of the new updates where announced by Daraxi, who confirmed that the theme of the new Album/Single(s) cover will have a modern African style to it and it would involve some flower/nature aspects to it. The title of the album will also have something to do with Nature as well, reported by some Warner insiders. C.M.B.D is also reported to head to Sweden to work on the album with Max Martin and other Swedish producers/Lyricist.
