The rising girl group C.M.B.D arrives with their first group single titled "Forbidden Four". The potential hit single has major genre influences of Pop, R&B and Hip-Hop. "Forbidden Four" was written by none other than recording artist Medina Valbak with co writing credits of member Chaelin, producer Aidan Davis and rising artist/lyricist Julia Michaels. The track was produced by critically acclaimed production duo The Wolverines. "Forbidden Four" tells of a folk like story of a "malicious" heart that is found inside four innocent women who have no control over its actions. The malicious heart makes the four women break many hearts wherever they travel to and gives the girls a reputation of being pure homewreckers. The girls end-up feeling horrible about their uncontrollable actions and try many ways to break the malicious habit of their heart, but they always end-up losing and breaking another relationship. The girls finally realize they are defeated and will never be able to love a man again; they are tortured by the judgment around them and finally name themselves the "Forbidden Four". The "Forbidden Four" now travel the world together and break the hearts of evil men who do wrong to women, they are the karma for malicious men who go around breaking hearts for fun. They make a balance of good and evil in the world, but don't get fooled by their looks, these women will break you.
BACKGROUND:
"Forbidden Four" was written and produced in the United States, but the final vocal recordings and mixing happened in Seoul, South Korea. The girls are currently in their fan-meet tour in Japan so recording of the group single had to be quick since many of the songs of the upcoming album had been mixed and ready to release, but the radio single was the part of the album that was missing to complete the debut album. The girls had met with the producer duo The Wolverines to tell them the elements of what they wanted in the instrumental single back in States before they traveled to South Korea to begin their fan-meet Asian tour. The girls performed the single in exclusive fan-meets and the single was met with positive acclaim by many fans calling it the next "girl group hit of the decade". The debut album is expected to be released in January 2016 and a pre-order coming before Christmas!
