YoungHood Ft. Kim Lee Wong - Ride Or Die

YoungHood. YoungHood is probably somebody you know. He got quite alot of attention with his disstrack against Drew. While it's true that the Track was fire, people were more focused on Drew. After that, YH released his first mixtape called "Listen To The Track", which was really good. Even though the mixtape was really good, people still didn't gave YH the attention he deserved. He still stayed the "Disstrack" guy. But this time, he's back with more than quality. The new track is called "Ride Or Die" and makes sure that we don't forget YoungHoods name. 'Ride Or Die' is a catchy Hip Hop/R&B track which features vocals by Kim Lee Wong. Kim's voice is almost near perfection on the record, but the lyrics could've been more polished. The lyrics is not bad, not at all, but has some parts which screamed 'unpolished'. But, Kim's voice made that pretty much up, his voice has a beautiful sound which won't even make you recognize the unpolished parts of the song, if you don't look the lyrics up. YH's part on the other side is just amazing. If you listened to the disstrack or his mixtape, you already know how good YoungHood actually is, but this time he took to another level. His flow has something unique and his lyrics is almost perfect. He's still in his early stages of his career, so he will get even better at some point. The production is clean and has some great drops. I love how it changes the sound when it goes from Kim's part to YH's. It stays similar, but has some small changes. This song is just the start of something great, and I know that we will hear alot more and better from YoungHood. With time, he will probably be one of the best rappers we have.

I often question on if I should settle down

OOC: Glad you took my advice and went in this direction with YoungHood! It definitely shows he has more layers as opposed to just being a "gangsta rapper". I also enjoyed the lyrics thoroughly. You write great raps. Good job :)
