Can You Feel Me Now? is a song recorded by the American singer, actress and model Aikya Balan featuring guest vocals from Miki, a member of the K-pop gil group, MiMi. The song was released worldwide for digital download on May 15th, 2016 and impacted electronic radio on May 16th, 2016 as a long-awaited single from Balan who releases music successfully but never consistently. Following it's released, the single was lauded by critics, with the haters seething and claiming she sold out or some shit. Produced by FancyN and inZane, Can You Feel Me Now? is an Electropop song that serves a completely different and more mainstream sound from an artist like Aikya Balan, while still sticking to a vogue-ful vibe. Aikya's soft voice and Miki's bouncy rap floats through the smooth beat, it's bass guiding the song in every right direction. The lyrics tell a story about trying to save a relationship falling apart due to a lack of communication. Like every other Aikya song, she just tries to fix it with sex but it kind of works. The song was written with the word "Anechdoche" in mind, a word that is defined as an obscure sorrow that describes a conversation where everyone is talking but no one is listening. While the song is more pop than we'd ever expect Ms. SayItLikeIKEA to get, her lyrics still remain unconventional and masked by lust.
