"There's a point in every woman's life where they realize the freedom the world has given them is bullshit."

20,000 people begin to cheer in unison, realizing the show is finally starting as Anniken Dahl-Smith's voice fills the stadium. It's a special night because for everyone here, it will be their first time seeing Mi•Mi live. They know the songs, they know the dances, and tonight they will know the story.

"Yet somehow only a few women realize the actual fault."

All of the lights in the venue shuts off. This just makes the crowd hungrier.

"Freedom CANNOT be given."

The stadium still dark, the sound of hard hitting militant drums begin to takeover.

"It has to be taken."

With these words, flames burst out from the side of the stage and when they finally settle you can see 4 cages lowering down onto the stage. In them are the 4 girls of Mi•Mi, swinging and climbing of their cages, dangling just above the flames as they looking hungry to get out. After a minute of teasing the crowd, they all finally raise the microphone to their lips.





Feed the monkeys, baby, if you dare

Keep me tamed and hope I never go bad bad baaaaAAAAAD!!!

They end the last line with a scream that shakes the whole venue. The girls begin to get wild, throwing themselves around their small cages and making them swing wildly from side to side. Every now and then the cages even hit each other, making the 10 foot drop look even more dangerous. In the midst of all the screaming, Miki begins a chant. Shortly after all the girls begin to sing the song.

After Misu hits that last note with a haunting belt, for a few minute the flames die down and it's just the pure silence of the crowd screaming. Next thing you know, all of the doors to their cages slowly open and then all nonchalantly jump out, the flames around them dying down so that the crowd can see them. Suddenly the big screen on the stage begins to flash with a hazardous red light and a loud alarm begins to ring throughout the stadium. At this point the crowd doesn't really even know what to do. Everyone's just screaming in awe. When the music finally starts back up, Mi•Mi stand front and center, hitting choreography to the reggae sample, dancehall horn blowing as they use their long legs to tease, showing off their footwork through the intermission. Shortly after, Miki begins her fierce chant and everything seems to speed up, taking on a more militant style as they stomp and whip their hair in unison.
