Rose Thorns & Unicorn Horns is a song recorded by the South-Korean singer, songwriter Mi Sun Kim or better known as Misu. The track serves as the debut solo single from the singer who is apart of the Korean-Pop girl group Mi•Mi. Written by Misu with help from Airemese Smith with production from inZane, the song was released for digital download on July 10th, 2016 and impacted Pop and Rhythmic radio on the same day. Musically, Rose Thorns & Unicorn Horns is a Pop mid-tempo about trusting in the sole power of belief and using it to overcome all fear of things that are different from exactly what you believe in. Lauded by critics, one of the song's biggest charms is how it's written with a spark of innocence that only someone like Misu can pull off. "Just by the composition, this could've easily been yet another song about love and seduction but Misu takes the high road and brings it to the next level, adding her unique style to the song that makes it stand out in a good way. Some may think it's elementary but while it's cute, it's important to note how true it is," says Rollingstone's Brittany Spanos.
