Although she is still just a young thing in her early 20's, Michelle Green has some serious old school voice pipes - having her voice being compared to the likes of many classical superstars and inspirational singers. Not only was she born in the U.S, she grew up in the U.K and therefore found herself listening to powerful Folk, Jazz and Indie Pop music that reigns highest in the United Kingdom. A true love for the music since she was in nappies, her father realised she needed to be taken more seriously when she sang her rendition of Unchained Melody by the Righteous brothers at her school talent show and received an standing ovation as well as touching many hearts that sat in the crowd, she was only 10. Since then, her father began giving her piano lessons, extra singing classes that has so far strengthened her already A plus voice and added an instrument to her repertoire. Do not be mistaken though, Michelle CAN make an uptempo beat you can dance to and would not mind making a head rocking alternative pop song. Continuing on, as time went on her fairly wealthy father who won a lawsuit over an injury, opened up a private studio inside of their house and Michelle immediately began recording music at the age of 13 in the next two years Michelle Green and her father who was her head manager started sending out music demos that were in no way allowed out to the public.

Michelle was signed to Shooting Star Records in 2010. Under the label she had massive success. Michelle released her first single; "Fifteen" which received rave reviews from critics and peaked at No.2 in the charts. Her success was to continue and reach even greater heights! Her second single; "Dark Days" reached No.1 making Michelle the youngest ever artist to achieve the No.1 spot. Ms. Green, still only aged 15, was quickly gathering a huge fan base. Her fans supported Michelle with the release of her debut album, "The Voice Of Me", as millions went out to purchase a copy. The album reached No.1 in the albums chart on 2 separate occasions and became one of the biggest selling albums of the year. The third and final single from the album was "Red Symphony". This is probably one of Michelle's signature songs and is her biggest selling hit to date, peaking at No.1 in the singles chart and outselling her previous singles by far.

Riding high on her success, Michelle took some time off the calm down from all of the hype and started to quietly work on album No.2. Lot of months passed without anything being released by Michelle and fans were growing impatient. Not entirely happy with releasing a new album so soon just to meet demands, she instead released a promo single; "Dance With Danger" which despite being a promo only single, reached the Top 10 at the peak of No.8.

Nearly finished her second album, Michelle released another promo single to test out her new sound. The promo single; "You Just Lost Your Lover", failed to garner much interest and left her thinking that her new sound wouldn't be well received. Michelle, however, really believed in her material and went on to FINALLY release an official lead single, "Exiled". The song became a top 5 hit and was a much welcomed return. Her second album, also titled 'Exiled', was released in October 2011 after a 4 month delay and managed to enter and peak at No.2 on the Chart Heat Albums Chart. The second and final single from 'Exiled' was 'Soldier', a single released to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support. The song entered and peaked at No.2 and became her fastest and best selling single to date.

In January 2012, Michelle entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and finished in third place behind Erich Hess & Eilidh Greene. Before going in, she recorded 4 new songs which were included on the re-packaged edition of her second album titled; 'Exiled: Platinum Edition'. The lead single from the album was 'Take Me Down' which peaked at No.5, becoming Michelle's 6th consecutive Top 5 hit single.

In the second quarter of 2012, Michelle joined the judging panel of Star Factory. A hit TV talent show were contestants sing each week live on stage and the public vote for who they want to save. Michelle was a mentor on the show alongside Brittany Knox, Hayden Merjos, Scott RH & Alicia Lena. Each judge has two acts to mentor. Michelle lost one of her acts, ELMNT, in the first week however her second act, Aubrey Mikkel went on to win the competition which in turn crowned Michelle the very first winning judge. Whilst on Star Factory, Michelle started to work on her third studio album. The album (which was then still untitled) was said to be 'bigger' than any of her previous work and that it would have a 'variety of genres' and a more 'mature' sound. Rumours of collaborations with her then-boyfriend Riley Hamilton and with some rappers circulated at the time.

In early 2013, Michelle released the lead single from the third album. The dance inspired, club 'banger', 'Break The Dawn' showed off Michelle's new grown up image and the songstress received universal praise for her change in sound and image. The single hit No.2, making it her 7th consecutive Top 10 hit. The video saw Michelle dance around derelict streets and underground parties around L.A in the early hours of the morning. A second single soon followed in the form of the sultry, R&B/Hip-Hop inspired 'Explode'. The track saw yet another change for Ms. Green. The energetic dance moves and little hotpants from the previous video were replaced by seductive moves and tight latex leotards. 'Explode' continued Michelle's string of Top 10 hits, peaking at No.6. After much hype and a long and excruciating wait, Michelle's third studio album, 'Live To Tell' finally hit the shelves in September 2013. The record received universal acclaim and many have dubbed the record as 'her best yet'. The album reached No.1, becoming her second to do so after her debut album, 'The Voice Of Me'. A third single, 'Leave The Light On', was released simultaneously with the album and became her ninth single to chart within the top 10, peaking at No.3. It was confirmed that the last track on the album (also titled 'Live To Tell') would be released in early November as the fourth and final single. Upon its release as a single, it continued Michelle's string of top 10 hits, peaking at No.4.

During the promotion for "Live To Tell", Michelle gave birth to her first son, Orson Tobias Hamilton. Since then, Michelle focused on raising her son and tackled many more hurdles that came her way. Alas, her whirlwind marriage did not have the fairytale ending she had hoped for. Chaos Records also closed its doors, leaving Michelle without a label for a while. Eventually signing to Kaleidoscope Records, Michelle began to dabble and experiment in the studio with her style yet again. Over the last three years, Michelle has been juggling single mother life, the transition from teenager to adult and has been slowly forming her fourth studio album. Michelle was set to release a compilation record which featured songs she had written as a teenager, titled "Songs From The Scrapbook" but the idea was eventually shelved to allow Green to finally focus on her fourth full length studio effort.

Now, after years tucked away from the spotlight...Michelle is back.
