Album Name: We Interrupt This Program Band: Rise to Fight Genre: Hard Rock, Heavy Metal Scheduled Release Date: Early 2020 Label: Virtus Records Recorded: V Studios, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania We Interrupt This Program is the debut album set for release in early 2020 by Pittsburgh based heavy metal band Rise to Fight. The album will be released through Virtus Records and was recorded at the company's V Studio in Pittsburgh. The album will include recently released single Push, which has reached #2 on weekly airplay charts as of this writing, though at this point no other songs have been hinted towards in the album. According to main vocalist Leonard Hawkins Junior, the album will contain heavy topics conveyed through the heavy thrash style that made the group popular throughout the northeast region. All the songs that will be featured on the album were written by members of the band, sometimes by an individual, sometimes by multiple members. "The cool thing about having six members is that you have so many different experiences and viewpoints you can build these songs off of, and it really helps in making this album what it will become when we release it." Leonard explained. Five of the six members perform in each song, the exception is vocalist Christine Aktor, who misses a couple songs. Track 1: InterruptionLength: 3:02 Writers: Leonard Hawkins Jr Interruption is the opening track of the album and one of the earliest songs made by Rise to Fight. This is one of the songs in the album that does not feature vocalist Christine Aktor at all. The vocals are done entirely by Leonard Hawkins Jr, with the song having the very heavy, thrash metal tone that made the band popular. Normal Vocals Heavy/Screaming Vocals
Get ready for this! Get ready for this! Go!
Sorry to interrupt Your little fun and games You should know that Life’s not easy to tame
Look at yourself See how you have failed Your life’s a prison And here there is no bail
This is not an intervention This is not an intervention This is an interruption This is an interruption
This is not an intervention This is not an intervention This is an interruption This is an interruption
I don’t give a fuck If you ever want to heal All you ever did to us Was lie, cheat and steal
So play your game Piss on your own name But you will see You won’t do the same to me
This is not an intervention This is not an intervention This is an interruption This is an interruption
This is not an intervention This is not an intervention This is an interruption This is an interruption
At first I was disappointed I thought I was the problem
Maybe I didn’t try hard enough But then I seen The problem wasn’t me
That’s when I knew The problem was...YOU
(Instrumentals focusing on Daryl Segura's guitar last for about 15 seconds here)

STOP! Track 2: PushInformation about Push can be found at the band's official website HERE Song Key Leonard Hawkins Jr Vocals Christine Aktor Vocals Heavy/Screaming vocals
Can you hear me? Do you even care? I try to reach out. But it’s like nobody’s there.
I want to help you But I don’t know what to say Cause when I get close You push me away
Push!
Stuck in self-loathing Stuck in your lonely life I try to reach you Try to pull you from this strife
I want to help you But I don’t know what to say Cause when I get close You push me AWAYYY
Push! Push! Push! Push!
You judge my reasons You act like I don’t care! You try to tell me What is right and what is fair!
But. Know. This I struggle everyday! You are forcing me To push you AWAYY!
Push! Push! Push! Push!
I hope they know I wanted to help you I hope someday they understand Truly how much I loved you Truly how much I cared
But it’s okay, we’ll see each other soon. But it’s okay, we’ll be together soon.
Ladies and gentlemen We are gathered here today To celebrate the lost! To celebrate the hate!
Words unspoken That is such a shame They stayed silent And pushed each other away!
No time left to save it No time left to fight! No time left to realize In a way, both were right.

Track 3: Couch Critic Length: 2:35 Writer: Seth Arendo
Couch Critic is the third song featured on Rise to Fight's debut album 'We Interrupt This Program'. The song was written by Seth Arendo and was made to air his grievances over the criticism that artists face from people who "haven't accomplished a damn thing."
"It doesn't just have to focus on artists. You can say the same for athletes and other people, its not about who it targets its about who is writing it." Arendo explained. "This is about those people who sit at home, in their parents basement, and just spend their days trashing other people or making up lies about people just because these people are failures. Eh, this song can explain it better than I."
The song is sung by Leonard Hawkins Jr and Christine Aktor, with a line spoken by lead guitarist Daryl Segura. The 'mighta raped somebody' line is based off a false accusation made against Daryl Segura that circulated around the northeast.
Lyric Key Leonard Hawkins Jr - Normal Leonard Hawkins Jr - Screaming Christine Aktor - Normal Christine Aktor - Screaming Daryl Segura
I’m a freak I’m a creep Hear my show but Don’t you peep
I’m a bore I’m a whore Fuck your words I don’t listen anymore
Call me what you want Die up on your hill I’m not going away Don’t think I ever will!
Call me a mistake Message me with hate Do your damn best I’ll just retaliate
You like to sit at home And judge people’s lives Calling everyone a one While you give yourself a five
People out here every day They are bustin their ass You never had that ethic You waste of space and gas
You...you...you…
Couch critic! You couch critic! You worthless piece of shit Couch Critic! Do it all for some hits
Couch Critic! You attention hog Couch Critic! No one will read your blog
Nothing is as sickening As the personal lies Rumors to drive traffic And ruin people’s lives
Yeah he’s alright but I heard he mighta raped somebody
Couch Critic! You couch critic!
Couch Critic! You fucking waste of life Couch Critic! World will be better when you die!
Couch Critic!

Lyric Key Leonard Hawkins Jr - Normal Leonard Hawkins Jr - Screaming Christine Aktor - Normal Christine Aktor - Screaming
I thought that I was better I thought that you could change So when you chose her It all just felt so strange
After all these loving years So willing to throw it away You took the last of my soul And it's driving me insane
INSANE
Welcome to your new life Where she’s only one To everybody else You will be the bastard son
But she understands Only she knows me She goes anywhere with me Not a fucking word!
All you did was bitch All you did was cry Can’t do nothing else Even look me in the eye
I…don’t...need...you When...I...have...her I...don’t...want...you When...I...have...her
Next time you drive I hope you get pulled over Cause when she’s with you You can’t stay fucking sober!
Don’t worry about me Don’t think I’m gonna stop Cause the only way I’mma go Is death by fucking cop!
You chose her Over your family But in the end You still matter to me
What else could I do? You can’t help someone When they won’t help themselves
What else could I say? When you went with her Every fucking day!
After all I’ve done for you This is how you act! You know I love you too And that’s a fucking fact
But you also know I won’t be treated a child So you can fight up until The papers are filed!
I...don’t...need...you When...I’m...with...her I...don’t...want...you When...I’m...with...her
I...don’t...like...you When...I’m...with...her I...can’t...feel...it When...I’m...with...her
I’m...so...hap..py When...I’m...with...her I...feel...no...pain When...I’m...with...her
Love is not there At the bottom of a can She is a but an object You could still be man
I want you to understand I tried to stop But my relationship with her I can’t just drop
I want you to understand I wish you’d stay But I’ll choose her At the end of the day
Now there’s nothing left for me Just her and I Her and I at last Her and I at last
She’ll even introduce me To all her friends I never want to get off this high I feel like I’m up in the sky
