Discuss.
I'll move this if the majority don't consider it "serious" debate. |

I love iTunes. Used it when I had Windows, and use it now with Mac. I never even tried to use WMP, iTunes was just so easy. |

Windows Media Player. Although I only use it for ripping CDs, single video and audio files. I use Winamp for playlists and PowerDVD for DVDs.
I rip to WMA, for reasons not worth explaining.
I've always disliked Apple's monopoly with the iPod, the ubiquity of iTunes, the whole nature of Macs being closed systems. But now that I have a MacBook for my course, I do use iTunes on occasion for playing rendered mp3s, and every time I do I think "boy, I hate iTunes so much." |

I use both. iTunes for my home computer and laptop, and WMP for work computer. Hey, I get bored submitting data reports and fixing or installing programs. |

No no no, I'd like to hear why you rip to .WMA, out of curiosity more than anything. Personally I'm just an "if it's not broken why fix it" person when it comes to the both, and having had WMP before, with all my music on, I considered it simply a chore to exchange (or convert in the case of .WMA) files over to an iTunes library. |

I'm an iTunes guy, but that's just cause it's always worked for me and the first "mp3" player I bought was by Apple. |

I listen to music on Winamp, I rip music with Audiograbber.
I really can't stand the lay out of iTunes or Media Player.
I use Winamp because I've used to Winamp for about as long as I've had a computer. |

Videos - Media Player Classic Music - Winamp.
Some years ago I used Shareaza (similar to Soulseek) to listen to my music, but after I changed to Winamp I don't ever hope to use that again. |
I own:

Both... The problem with Itunes is that while it has some really great idea's like the Genius Playlist (if your too lazy to make one yourself) but te closed system nature of it really really hacks me off.... Especially when i no longer have an ipod. Wmp has become my first love again, simple and easy to use with a range of different layouts and great compatability.... All i have to do now is sort out all my music from one to the other and i can be happy again (not that that will ever happen as i am far to lazy). |
I hate it when people see me at the supermarket and they are like: Hey, what are you doing here? and im just like: Oh you know, hunting elephants |
